Does this film also protect against UV rays?

I have found more information on this if anyone else is interested (for example to protect pictures or furniture from UV): The transmittance for visible light is between 1 % and 8 %, depending on the product. Protection against ultraviolet B radiation is between 99 % and 100 %. It makes no difference whether the gold or silver side of the rescue blanket is exposed. Conventional rescue blankets therefore have sufficient permeability to light and at the same time adequate protection against ultraviolet B rays to serve as temporary eye protection (sunglasses) in alpine areas and to protect against snow blindness
