Grüezi what percentage of cocoa does this contain?
Hello Nici_2, thank you for your inquiry. The cocoa content in the Eimalzin cocoa drink is 15.2 %. Hopefully we were able to help you with our answer.Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Why can I no longer buy Eimalzine in most stores? If so, I would like to protest against this! I would like to be able to continue buying Eimalzine.
People used to go to Migros because of their great own products made by Migros companies, which were often better than branded products, but now there are more and more branded products in the Migros range that you can also buy from others, which is increasingly a reason not to go shopping in Migros any more.
Well written @Rhyfallforelle 👍 This week's promotion on Red Band brand gummy bears. But you can also get this brand in the Coop and everywhere. The main thing is that Trolli has been removed from the range 🤦♀️
Hello SannaH, thank you for your question. We still have the Eimalzin powder in our range. However, due to the rather low demand, we have reclassified the product, which means that it is now only available in selected supermarkets. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
Thank you for your reply. I would like to ask you to make this article available again at the Reinach branch. It can't be right that people have to travel to Buchs, Aarau or Sursee for it.
Hello SannaH
Thank you for your feedback.
We have checked with the relevant specialist department. Unfortunately, we have to inform you that the Eimalzin can no longer be offered in the Reinach branch due to lack of space and lower demand.
You can also find this product in the Wohlen, Unterentfelden and Buchs branches.
We are sorry that we cannot give you better news.
We hope you can understand our decision and look forward to your next visit to our branches. your M-Infoline team
Sad that you have to travel half an hour by car muss🤷🏼♀️
Thank you very much. The refill pack is available again in Reinach😊 Only the 500 g pack, but still... THANK YOU

Why has it suddenly run out of whole egg? Too bad, that's why I bought it before.
Hello Lecurieux, the recipe was changed a year ago and since then - like Ovomaltine - no longer contains egg. As egg is an allergen, this change has eliminated an allergen from the recipe. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
According to the list of ingredients on Migipedia and Migros Online, whole egg powder is still listed.
Hello Lecurieux, thank you for your feedback. Exactly, eggs are an allergen. If you are interested in this topic in more detail, you can find more information on this at the Federal Food Safety and Veterinary Office: https://www.blv.admin.ch/blv/de/home/lebensmittel-und-ernaehrung/lebensmittelsicherheit/naehrwertinformationen-und-kennzeichnung/lebensmitteletikette.html?cq_ck=ck=1593505982512#952669235.Danke and for your comment on the declaration on our website. The specialist unit immediately initiated the adjustment. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
If it no longer contains eggs, the names would also have to be adapted: e.g. KEINEIMALZIN or NONOVOMALTINE. However, the question is whether it still contains MALT at all? If not, I would still have to get creative. how about: NULL-NULL-NIX stirs fix......
Thank you for your input, Lecurieux. As this is a brand name, we will not change it. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

What have you done with Eimalzine? ↵I've been drinking it for 40 years, but for some time now it's been 1. strange in taste, 2. mealy in consistency instead of grainy as before and 3. hardly soluble in cold milk. 😭↵With the first three packs, I thought something must have gone wrong for a whole series. But now, after a few weeks break, it's still the same. What happened?
Hello Milchschlabberi1, we're sorry that you didn't like the product. Could you give us the LOT number and the best-before date? We would like to check his request in more detail. Thank you very much for your help. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
They've had the one-time interest on the hit list for a long time. It is being made less and less attractive so that they have a reason to shoot it down for good. The answer from Infoline is flimsy. Ovaltine brings sales growth because it is more expensive, and the same is done with other items produced in-house. The Migros of today has become a juice store, so I can only recommend "Tschau Migros"!
Hello Niwre50, thank you for your feedback. You are welcome to provide us with the item number and lot number of the item and we will check it. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello, I've just discovered this product and I've become a big fan! I don't understand why you don't promote this product?

Hello, I've just discovered this product and I've become a big fan! I don't understand why you don't promote this product?
After I had to throw away a double pack of Eimalzine due to a strong change in taste, I bought a new pack based on the answer to my question from August of this year. Unfortunately, this Eimalzine powder does not have the same taste as before. I have been drinking Eimalzine for at least 30 years. I therefore regret to say that this was the last pack I bought... I'll try Ovo now.
Hello nick4125 Thank you for your message. We can assure you that the recipe of our Eimalzin breakfast drink is unchanged. We are sorry that you no longer like the taste of the product. As an alternative, we recommend our Actilife Vitalzin (article: 1074.054). However, this product is only available in larger stores. We wish you an enjoyable weekend. Your M-Infoline Team

Has the recipe for this product been changed? Unfortunately, my breakfast drink tastes more like Caotina or cocoa since I opened the last bag. Unfortunately, I still have another one with the same purchase date in the cellar... Unpalatable for me - I prefer pure milk. Is this a production error? Can I dare to buy Eimalzin again?
Sali nick4125 Thank you for your post. The recipe for our Eimalzin drink is unchanged. No deviations from the standard could be detected when checking retained samples. As cocoa is a natural product, it must be taken into account that slight variations in taste can never be completely ruled out. We wish you a nice day and send you our best regards. How long has Eimalzine been around?
Since 1929.
http://www.migipedia.ch/de/einmalzin-kauftipp
In August 1929, Haco AG in Gümligen begins supplying Migros with "Eimalzin" and bouillon cubes under the management of Gottlieb Lüscher (also a Gottlieb).

I'm a big fan of Eimalzin. I like the taste better than the "original" and the sweetness is also more balanced.
However, I have noticed that the taste has changed somewhat in the last six months or so. The product has acquired a slightly smoky aftertaste (of course it doesn't taste like smoke - but it's the most appropriate term I can think of). Is it just me who noticed this? Have the ingredients / recipe been changed?
Hello guest
It's great that you are such a big fan of our Eimalzin.
The recipe has not been changed for several years. We are therefore unable to explain the deviations you describe. However, we would be very happy to look into it. Something may have gone wrong during production.
Could you please send us a sample of the powder to the following address?
Federation of Migros Cooperatives
M-Infoline/ IN_1308717
Limmatstrasse 152
8031 Zurich
It is very important that you enclose or stick a leaflet with your reference number IN_1308717 on the sample, otherwise relevant information about your request will be lost.
The packaging also contains the M-Data and the batch number. We need this information in order to check the retained samples from the same production run.
We ask for your understanding that we cannot clarify your request without a sample and therefore cannot give you a clarifying answer.
We thank you in advance for your help and wish you a pleasant day.
Best regards
Your M-Infoline Team

lori i can only agree that something has happened to the taste of eimalzin, it's too sweet for me, i don't enjoy it, lg
Dear guest
Thank you for your feedback.
No recipe changes have been made in the last 10 years. This means that the disposable zin should taste the same as it always has.
If you can give us the lot number and the best-before date, we could look into the matter and send you a statement.
Your satisfaction is important to us.
Best regards from the M-Infoline team
