Large chicken eggs Animal welfare? Shouldn't such large eggs be avoided? Are they huge? Isn't that too big for a chicken? Pain when laying?

There are also differences between different chicken breeds. Just as the color of the egg depends on the breed, the size also depends on the breed. Brown hens lay particularly large eggs. As this depends on natural factors, there is no reason to assume a correlation between egg size and pain. So if you want to take animal welfare aspects into account when buying eggs, the size of the eggs is not important, you should rather pay attention to the way they are kept (e.g. free-range, organic, Demeter eggs). Thank you for your feedback. Then I am reassured. I recently read something about this issue and got a guilty conscience. I buy these breakfast eggs almost exclusively. It's debatable why eggs are sold with the label "breakfast eggs" at all. It's just marketing, so I would eat these eggs at midnight. Grin...

The classic "breakfast eggs" are served half-cooked as a three or five-minute egg (as shown in the product picture). Your question can't be serious, can it? If the label is small on the packaging, serving suggestion, completely legal, this question is superfluous, "pre-cooked" eggs??? Could be a new trend, the food industry is working on it. grin...
