is this product totally vegetarian?
Hello Ambreee, thank you for your inquiry. Our manufacturer, Fresh Food & Beverage Group, normally uses vegetable fats and oils or butter for the production of bread and bakery products. Emulsifiers such as E471 and E472 (mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids), or E475 (polyglycerol esters of fatty acids), which we use in the manufacture of our breads and bakery products, are always of vegetable origin. Hello The ingredients list includes whey powder, which is a product that is created during cheese production. Do you know if animal rennet was used for this or are the donuts vegetarian? Thank you very much for your answer :)
Hello Cheyenne_S, sorry for the long wait, unfortunately the necessary clarifications took longer than expected! Our investigations have shown that the whey powder contained in the donut is vegetarian. Microbial rennet is used. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

In the ingredients of the Migros donuts (here cocoa) mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids are mentioned. Does it mean that it is animal or vegetable and if animal, is it beef or pork? Thank you very much for your answer. :) -Ingredients

Emulsifiers such as E471 and E472 (mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids) or E475 (polyglycerol esters of fatty acids), which we use in the production of our bread and bakery products, are always of vegetable origin. Only vegetable fats and oils or butter are used in the production of our bread and bakery products, but no animal slaughter fats and therefore no pork fat or lard. The exception is greaves in our specialty greaves sticks. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
