Bought two new clinical thermometers today. Both show low LO. The measurement is taken, it flashes. Then the flashing stops but there is no signal tone, not on either thermometer.

I have inserted a brand new LR41 battery and the clinical thermometer switches on again by making all the display symbols visible, but then an Err message appears immediately. Unfortunately, I can no longer use the clinical thermometer. Can you help me any further? Many thanks and best regards

This fever meter always shows values below 36°, control measurements with other devices are over 1° higher! We bought the device a while ago for the vacations and have now used it for the first time, but I have to dispose of the device straight away when I get measurements like this ?
