Why does the Leggero capsule pop shortly after starting?
The water then no longer runs through the capsule, but directly into the Delizio capsule container.
The last pack was OK, but this one I have just bought no longer works.
We bought a new Delizio machine last year, but unfortunately the new machine has the same problem with the Leggero capsules. The espresso goes.
It is tedious and frustrating when your beloved coffee ends up with half the liquid in the container.

- What model is your Delizio machine?
- Approximately when did you buy the machine?
- Can you please tell us the batch/lot number and best-before date of the capsules concerned? You can find this information on the packaging.
- Have you installed a water softening or descaling system in your household?

No, no photos. We have tried two other capsules, Espresso and Lungo Crema. Espresso works perfectly and Lungo works partially.
Hello JaneLo, thank you for your feedback. We have carefully checked our return samples and could not find any discrepancies. The capsules were inserted correctly and the coffee flow was perfect. As we are not aware of any similar complaints where capsules have burst - regardless of the variety - it is difficult for us to trace the exact problem without a photo. However, we suspect that it may be a specific problem with the machine, even if this does not occur with all capsules. If necessary, we recommend that you send the machine in for repair in accordance with the information provided by the distributor from whom the machine was purchased. Which of the Delizio varieties is the most digestible if you have sensitive stomach problems?
I take Delizio Lungo Leggero, but unfortunately my stomach reacts very sensitively to it, even though I take stomach protectors.
Can someone please give me an answer, if possible?

Hello sarit, thank you for your question and for your trust in our products. We are sorry to hear that your stomach is sensitive to the Delizio Lungo Leggero.
For sensitive stomachs, we generally recommend coffees with a lower acid content, i.e. coffees that are roasted more mildly and less intensely. This would actually be the case with Delizio Lungo Leggero. However, the tolerance of coffee varies greatly from person to person. Caffeine can also stimulate the production of stomach acid, which can also lead to irritation and discomfort in some people. If you are sensitive to caffeine, you could also try the decaffeinated varieties Delizio Lungo Decaffeinato https://www.migros.ch/en/product/107184700000 or Espresso Decaffeinato https://www.migros.ch/en/product/107130700000. These are sometimes better tolerated by people with stomach problems.
The following measures can also improve tolerance:
- Prepare the coffee with a little milk or a plant-based alternative to neutralize the acidity.
- Make sure you don't drink coffee empty. Be careful not to drink coffee on an empty stomach, as this can further irritate the stomach lining.

Recently, my coffee machine has been struggling to make Lungo Leggero coffee. After pressing the start button, the coffee starts to run into the cup. But after a few moments, only a few drops come through. The holes in the used capsule look the same as always. I took my new coffee machine out of the cellar to test whether it was the machine. But it's not... Has anything been changed to the capsules?
I enjoy Delizio coffee in the store and at home. I like the variety of coffees and the ease of use. Leggero has been my favorite coffee since the beginning... Unfortunately, it happens more and more often that my capsules break shortly after I put them in the machine and I have a lot of powder in my coffee and have to empty it out. In the meantime, this is already the case with every second capsule! What's going on? Are the capsules no longer the same? Or is there something on the machine (e.g. the teeth) that needs replacing? I'd be glad of an answer as soon as possible before I stop drinking Delizio coffee...

Unfortunately, it is difficult for us to find out the reason for the cracked containers from a distance. However, as we have not received any further feedback recently, we assume that the problem originates from the coffee machine. May we ask you to bring it to the customer service department of a melectronics near you? Our local staff can examine the machine and send it in for repair immediately if necessary.
