What exactly are the capsules made of?

Hello waeberika, the capsules are made of polypropylene and can be disposed of with household waste without any problems. A large proportion of the energy released can be reused via district heating networks. At the same time, the flue gases produced during incineration are effectively cleaned so that only low emissions are produced. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Which decaffeination process is used to decaffeinate delizio decaffeinato coffee?

Hello customer90, our decaffeinated coffees for capsules are decaffeinated using the gentle CO2 process. Only CO2 gas and water are used to dissolve the caffeine from the bean. The unroasted coffee beans are brought into contact with CO2, which releases the caffeine from the bean at high pressure. The CO2 can be recycled and the decaffeinated green coffee remains. Furthermore, no additional chemicals such as solvents etc. are used. It is the most complex process, but also the gentlest and completely harmless to health. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
