In mid-October I bought a can of coffee and the taste is very different this time. The coffee seems sweet and the foam is thicker, plus the coffee cream we add turns... we don't like the taste. Have you changed the composition? Could there be a production problem? Thank you for your reply.

Hello, Here is the information on the packaging: 31.01.2022. 22:23 L0000000501 185 1071.822 We're used to drinking this kind of coffee and it really doesn't taste as good as it used to. Thank you in advance and have a nice day.

Hello caba28, thank you very much for your message. Our experts have checked the reserve samples, but they all correspond to the desired aromatic profile. As coffee is a natural product, differences may occur from one harvest to the next. Nevertheless, we check each coffee as soon as we receive it, and reject it if it does not meet our quality criteria. We recommend that you descale your machine and dry-clean the filter plate - this may have contributed to a deterioration in aroma. We'll be in touch. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello, in the last box I bought, the water doesn't come through in almost every second capsule. I have already shaken the capsule, but it didn't help. That is very annoying. As I then use two to three capsules for one coffee! To test whether it could be the machine, I tried a Delizio Leggero Lungo capsule from a colleague - no problem. What can I do? fg

Hello... I recently got a Delizio machine. The problem is that when I have visitors, I always have to explain which capsules I have and what they taste like. However, most people know the Nespresso capsules and have their preference. It would therefore be very useful to have a table showing which Delizio capsule tastes roughly(!) the same as which Nespresso capsule.

Yes, that's all well and good, but what do I do if someone says: "I like the green one from Nespresso!". 1. none of us has any idea what exactly makes it green and 2. if we look it up, this information is not enough. Intensity is still easy to map, but what do I do with flavors like wood, lemon and grain?
I would like something like (invented mapping):
Delizio Venezia -> Nespresso Roma
Delizio Alba -> Nespresso Cosi

Hello president
Thank you for your interest! If you live in Switzerland, you can order Delizio Espresso capsules at the following link:
http://w ww.leshop.ch/leshop/Main.do/direct/de/Search/delizio%20espresso/#/de/Supermarkt/_/_/308581_Delizio_Espresso_48stk
If you live in another country, however, you cannot place an order at Migros. Do you happen to have acquaintances in Switzerland? Maybe they could get Delizio capsules for you.

Until now, I have really enjoyed this coffee. For some time now, however, these capsules have only been producing flabby, weak coffee, hardly any foam, real "dishwater"! I am very disappointed! Have they switched to cheaper types of coffee?
If this continues, I'll probably go back to buying Mocoffee capsules (available from the Postshop) or Chicco D'Oro.
I've also had problems with the machine, a few weeks ago the tank leaked and the Delizio capsules were sometimes difficult to remove from the holder.
Dear guest
We are sorry that you no longer like the taste of Delizio Espresso. The manufacturer has not yet changed the recipe for this product. Coffee is a natural product and the taste can therefore vary slightly from harvest to harvest.
Depending on how much and how often you use the coffee machine, the filter plate may become dull. You can recognize this by the fact that the puncture holes on the front and back of the capsules are pierced irregularly or not at all. As a result, the coffee cannot escape and often only coffee drips and a lot of grounds come out. Please check the used capsules to see if this is the case.
A leaking tank can have several causes. A remote diagnosis is always difficult. We therefore ask you to contact our service department. We hope that the cause can be found as quickly as possible.
Best regards from the M-Infoline team

Concerns all capsules and DELIZIO coffee machines
(Unfortunately I could not find the coffee machine listed!)
Dear MIGIPEDIA members, readers, operators and development managers
I'm sure I'm not the only one with the problem I'm going to describe because I can't imagine that I, of all people, have 7 DELIZIO coffee machines/machines in use at home and in my company that all have the same problem...
About 1 year ago, I decided to replace all 7 Nespresso coffee machines with more cost-effective systems for cost reasons, both privately and in my company. I don't mean a cheaper machine, but the cheaper coffee in the capsule was the decisive factor for this step.
After an internal company test with various coffee machines / coffee systems and coffee and tea varieties from different suppliers, we (my employees and I) decided in a vote in favor of the Migros DELIZIO system.
So we bought 7 machines and replaced the Nespresso machines with the new DELIZIO machines.
After a short time, about 3 weeks, we had problems with two machines. Water was suddenly leaking from the underside of the machine. As a result, these machines could no longer be used and had to be taken to the Migros specialist store for repair. As soon as these two machines were back (after 2 weeks), the same problem occurred with a third machine. Apparently a sealing part did not hold and the water leaked out of the machine. Again, we did not have a machine in use for about 2 weeks.
Once this fault had been rectified on the third machine and it was back in use, we had some peace and quiet for about 6 months and the coffee machines worked to our satisfaction.
After these 6 months, however, we noticed that first one, then another and finally all 6 machines took longer and longer to make a coffee and that there was a kind of drop in pressure, which I also noticed on my machine at home. At first we thought it was a limescale deposit in the machine, even though we descaled the machines at regular intervals. But when descaling again didn't help and the coffee machines were dispensing coffee more and more slowly one after the other and often no coffee came out at all and you had to take the capsule out and insert it several times until the coffee came out, I took a look at the matter on a free evening. I dismantled a machine and noticed that the coffee capsules were simply no longer being inserted correctly. This meant that the hot water could not flow through the capsules and there was no coffee.
I then designed a small device for all departments and myself to perforate and pierce the coffee capsule before inserting it into the coffee machine. The capsules "pre-treated" in this way by my employees and myself can now be inserted without any problems and the coffee flows out of the machine again.
Based on this finding, I examined and analyzed the DELIZIO coffee capsules and the coffee machine a little more closely. I realized that this coffee system is a faulty design in the area of the capsule piercing.
In my opinion, there are basically two ways to solve or prevent this problem.
Option 1.
The capsules are no longer made of soft plastic but, like the Nespresso capsules, are made of aluminum, which is easier to pierce because aluminum is harder than plastic and can therefore be pierced better and more easily... or the capsule base is provided with an aluminum base, which, however, requires considerable production effort.
Option 2.
Make the piercing needles longer and thicker on both sides and not round piercing needles as they are now, but small triangular needles. The efficiency of a puncture in the capsule may be even better if there are fewer needles. The three surfaces of the piercing needles should not be straight but slightly rounded inwards so that the water flows in and out of the capsule better.
We are actually very satisfied with the coffee quality, the coffee is good and the staff also like the tea very much. But this flaw makes us think about getting out the old Nespresso machines and using them again. You can't buy a capsule system that stops working after a year.
Comment:
Apparently this problem is already known because, as we have discovered, there is a new type of capsule in which the base of the capsule has been modified and constructed differently. But we also have exactly the same problems with this because the plastic of the capsules is simply too soft and therefore cannot be pierced properly.
I would be happy to talk to those responsible about my experiments and share my ideas with them.
Kind regards to all readers and it would be great if there were other "tinkerers" who have also recognized this problem and would get in touch.

My machine also leaks at the bottom (every 2nd time), most likely with the Leggero capsules.
Dear Nextern, can you give me a tip on how the capsules should be pierced in advance?
I will probably return the machine and ask for my money back
(Scenario:
1) Customer service suggests repair. (or insists on it)
2) the technicians can't find anything because it's due to the capsules
3) Machine comes back, defect still occurs
4) and so on

Hello guest...
first of all, thank you for writing because apparently we are not the only ones. Furthermore, we have already gone through option 2 of your list and option 3 of your list has occurred...
Well, there are two options that we use so that the capsules can be inserted and used...
Option 1.
Take a wooden board approx. 10x 5cm (preferably plywood. Draw a circle with the circumference of the capsule base on the board about 3cm from the edge on the short side of the board so that you have a good grip with your hand when piercing on the other side... Now hammer 6 - 8 small nails through the board inside the drawn circle and the capsule opener, model Nextern 1-2009 is ready... :-)...
Now you can turn the board over so that the nails look out at the top, with one hand you press it down on the table and with the other hand you can press the capsules onto the nails. But make sure that you don't press your hand onto the nails :-) ...
Option 2.
Take an aluminum or wooden block, drill a hole with the diameter of the capsule in the aluminum or wooden block that is about half as deep as the height of the capsule, then take 6 - 8 pointed steel pins from the aluminum block or 6 - 8 nails from the wooden block with the heads cut off and attach them to the bottom of the hole in a circle with the point facing upwards. (We used a special tool for this) ... Now you can press capsule after capsule with the plastic part downwards into the drilled hole and you always have 6 - 8 nice holes in the bottom.
Yes, it's a problem with the machines and the coffee you get at the post office has the same defects... :-)
Best regards Marco Kälin
PS: You can also write to me by e-mail (mg.kaelin@bluewin.ch then I can send you a picture of my construction).
And now have fun tinkering and then enjoy your coffee...

We simply use the classic "tools" for "Gschwellti" and prick the capsules...doesn't work badly, but can't be the final solution to the problem...

Basically, you buy such a device so that you can make coffee and tea without having to do any manipulations to the capsules or the purchased device in order to enjoy a drink.
I don't just buy the skin from the Servelat and then fill the skin with meat... Or does someone do that...
When our machines finally give up the ghost, we will certainly no longer buy a DELIZIO machine, even though the coffee is quite good, but it is not our intention to always have to pierce the capsules in advance with any sharp objects because we have chosen this system because it is (should be) practical ....
It's a shame that Migros didn't react to this a long time ago...

Hello NEXTERN
Thank you for your contribution and also the suggestion to improve the capsules.
The problem with the plastic capsule has already been resolved in the meantime. It was a problem in the initial phase of the changeover.
You are welcome to bring your coffee machine to your nearest meletronics store. We will overhaul your coffee machine completely and free of charge. The service centers are equipped with replacement machines so that you can continue to enjoy Delizio coffee during the repair.
The changeover to a new capsule was necessary in order to achieve an even higher quality of the now 11 Delizio varieties and to comply with the current patent situation.
Best regards

Hello first of all. I would just like to add that we also have the problem with the coffee machine. In the beginning it worked great, then the capsules were changed and the dilemma took its course. Sometimes the water runs out with every coffee, regardless of whether it is pre-capped or not. I will take the machine to customer service tomorrow. Let's see what comes out of it.
Kind regards Roger Lütschg.

i also get upset every day. since the new capsules my machine no longer works correctly according to the existing comments. how would it be if new developments were also tested with older models, as is normally the case? backwards compatibility is the word!
what does migros intend to offer its customers, it can't throw the machine away

like the writers above, i also have this annoying problem with the capsules. i have a new machine and after initially good handling, almost every second capsule now fails and we have to pierce them so that the coffee runs.
we also have the same problem with the new capsules and we are beginning to wonder why we bought such a machine if the whole thing doesn't work in the end.
hope that this annoying problem will be solved soon
kindly renhard

I have also bought 3 machines,
The problems are/were massive with 2 of them.
I had the first one repaired at Migros, with the result that it was no longer just hot water running out of all the pores, but dirty water. I then disposed of it, partly because the guarantee had expired.
The one I'm using now tops everything: dirty, hot water comes out of +- all the cracks.
That's why the machine now stands on wooden stilts in a high tray so that I don't always mess up the whole kitchen (nice when hot coffee runs into the cracks in the worktop).
Migros Ticino is not so aware of the problem, nor do they know what the website www.delizio.ch says (e.g. repair and replacement machine, exchange of capsule dispenser, etc.), because Delizio/Migros/LeShop Switzerland does not regard Italian as a national language, but unfortunately Migros managers in Ticino do not usually speak German.
The coffee tastes good (if it comes out of the designated nozzle at all); but what's the point if there's such a mess every time (one of the reasons for buying it was that other machines, automatic or not, make quite a lot of mess and work. However, you know that with the latter, and you can take precautions. How am I supposed to seal a Delizio machine if not even the in-house repair can do it?)
Guest

...the new migros capsule is 1-2 mm longer than the original capsule! According to the hotline, this is the reason why the Delizio machines are breaking down by the dozen. We only need original capsules, unfortunately these are only partially available from migros. We have now tried the capsules from the postshop (Mocoffee brand), which not only taste better, but are still in the original format.

I will definitely not be buying another Swiss-made machine.
I have experience with Jura and Kapsel-Delizio.
Neither brand is any good because they have very serious defects and disadvantages (even in the construction methods and materials used).
The next purchase will be an ital. The next purchase will be an Italian machine, which is considerably more expensive, but will hopefully deliver what it promises.

Hello amaz0ne
Unfortunately, we have to inform you that there are no promotions for "Delizio" capsules. This is an agreement that has been made with the supplier and also applies to the rest of the trade.
To ensure that our "Delizio" customers can still benefit from favorable offers, the coffee machines concerned have already been offered several times at a promotional price.
We hope to be able to help you with this answer and to continue to welcome you to Migros.
Kind regards

all i can say is that there were recently 20x etra cumulus points per capsule pack...
but what annoys me more at the moment is that the new capsules no longer fit into the capsule holder, they go in without any problems but hardly come out again at the bottom.

It's clear that if I want to sell coffee capsules then I offer the equipment (coffee machine) at a low price and then I have customers who buy the capsules again, even without a special offer - completely understandable.
As a long-time Delizzio user, however, I can say that I am always happy about the machine promotions because when I factor them into the price of the coffee, the price is right again and also when I compare with other products, the price of the capsules is also right
So now I'm going to treat myself to a coffeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
