The product information says "Not suitable for frying". However, the instructions for preparation state that it can be used for cooking, baking and frying. What is correct now?
I use them for everything. I also freeze them.
Hello Kafioma, thank you for your comment. The product is not suitable for frying, cooking and baking. We will update the information online accordingly. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Dear Migros team, one more question: Could you please indicate the ratio of rapeseed oil and palm oil, i.e. how much rapeseed oil and how much palm oil is contained? Many thanks for your help and best regards, "Twilight"
Hello Twilight, thank you for your request. We will of course comply with your request. The product contains 13 % rapeseed oil and 11 % palm oil. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
Thank you for your reply. Of course I would welcome it if Migros could reduce the palm oil. I would also be happy to accept it if the margarine were a little less hard. Thank you very much.

Does this margarine contain trans fats? Thank you for an answer. Lg, "Twilight"
Hello Twilight, as this margarine contains no hydrogenated fats, trans fatty acids are not an issue with Délice Extra Light aha! trans fatty acids are not an issue. If hydrogenated oil or fat is used in a product, this must be stated in the list of ingredients by law (e.g. "partially hydrogenated sunflower oil" or "hydrogenated rapeseed oil"). If nothing is stated ("rapeseed oil", "sunflower oil"), it is non-hydrogenated fat or oil. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
Hello M-Infoline team, thank you for your reply. I very much hope that trans fats will soon be banned in Switzerland, as is already the case in other countries. I am relieved that at least this margarine is not affected. Thank you very much.
Hello Twilight, here is another addition on the subject of trans fatty acids that may be of interest to you: Migros does not use partially hydrogenated fats and oils. The reason for this is so-called trans fatty acids, which can be produced during the partial (i.e. incomplete) hardening of fats and oils. Similar to saturated fatty acids, they are considered unfavorable to health as they have a cholesterol-increasing effect. In this context, however, it must be said that modern hardening processes nowadays make it possible to achieve a low trans fatty acid content. In Switzerland, there is a legal requirement that the trans fatty acid content must not exceed 2% (in relation to the fat content). No trans fatty acids are produced when fats and oils are fully hardened. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

I would ask Migros to check whether this fine, light margarine can also be produced in 500 gram packs. I like the margarine and unfortunately it is quickly used up. It would be desirable to offer this product in a 500 g pack, just like "Die Lätta Extra Fit". I am already looking forward to it!
Hello indios, thank you for your message. We will be happy to inform the relevant specialist department about your request. However, we ask for your understanding if we do not implement it immediately or at all. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
Is there any new feedback?
Hello indios, thank you for your enquiry about aha! Délice Extra Light. The specialist department has confirmed that a 500 g pack is not planned - we are very sorry. Kind regards, your M-Infoline team
Too bad...

Is this suitable for baking?
Hello Skyshine, thank you for your question. Délice extra Light is a classic low-fat spread and unfortunately not suitable for baking. Alternatives would be Délice half-fat margarine or Sanissa Classic. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

You can freeze them well, always do this.
Dear guest
Thank you for your contribution.
We generally advise against freezing Délice extra light. The low fat content can cause the consistency of the margarine to change during the freezing process.
We look forward to your next visit - see you soon in your Migros!
Best regards from the M-Infoline team

I've never noticed a change. And I always do it this way.

I would like to try a butter substitute like margarine and have come across this product, as it is at least not so greasy...
Here are a few questions:
- Is your Délice margarine vegan (E471 and flavoring...)?
- What kind of "flavoring" is it exactly? Is butter flavoring supposed to be harmful to health?
- Could you tell me more/other low-fat, "healthy" and vegan! alternatives to butter that I can find in the Migros range (I would like to use the "butter substitute" primarily as a spread, for refining vegetables and for home-popped popcorn)?
Thank you very much for your information and have a good week.
Greetings, "Twilight"
Hello "Twilight",
I once heard that the vitamin D it contains comes from wool grease...
LG Corini
Hello Corini, thank you! I've also read that vitamin D can come from wool fat, but is often also obtained from other sources. So I hope that it is still a vegan margarine?
Hello Twilight
Thank you for your inquiry.
The Délice margarine is suitable for ovo- and lacto-vegetarians, but not for vegans, as it contains buttermilk. The emulsifier E471 is vegan, but the flavoring contains milk components. The flavoring is butter flavoring of natural origin.
With regard to health risks: Pure flavorings are highly concentrated substances. This high concentration can lead to problems if not handled properly during production. However, the concentrations in which butter flavorings are used in margarines are completely unproblematic. Butter flavorings may therefore be used in accordance with Swiss food law.
As an alternative, we can recommend the following products:
- Actilife Balance, 53% fat: vegan, suitable as a spread, for cooking, baking, frying and seasoning
- Délice extra light, 25% fat: vegan, suitable as a spread and for seasoning
Légère half-fat margarine and organic margarine are also 100% plant-based.
Best regards from the M-Infoline team
Dear M-Infoline team, thank you for your information! If I see correctly, the product you commented on is "Délice extra light". I'm pleased that it's vegan! Best wishes and have a nice weekend, "Twilight"
