The dates were all black inside. It wasn't good. Some were dry and hard
Hello Zaziee, thank you very much for your message about our dates. Poor quality products should not be included in our assortment. We have discussed your feedback with our specialist department. We try to guarantee the quality of our products by setting clear guidelines for our suppliers and by carrying out stringent incoming goods inspections. Some quality defects may only become apparent after some time, and are difficult to detect with the naked eye. We do our utmost to avoid such problems. We apologize for any inconvenience caused. Your comment has been passed on to the relevant quality assurance and purchasing departments. In general, you can return products of unsatisfactory quality to the customer service department of the nearest Migros store; if necessary, the products will be replaced or the purchase price refunded. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Dear Migros, these dates mostly come from Israel: A few years ago, there was a discussion about Israeli dates, some of which came from the West Bank, i.e. the Palestinian territory annexed by Israel in violation of international law, and were grown by Palestinian workers who were paid far below the minimum wage in Israel. In the discussion at the time, it was established that Migros dates also came from this source. What is the situation today? Thank you very much for your answer! Best regards, IchNochmal
Hello IchNochmal, thank you for your inquiry. We want to avoid contributing to or being directly associated with an occupation situation that violates international law through economic activities in occupied territories. Following extensive due diligence, we have decided to refrain from sourcing goods from occupied territories. This is in line with the position of the Swiss Confederation and the principles of international humanitarian law. Specifically, this means that the dates come from the Israeli heartland. Furthermore, the products must be GlobalGAP / GRASP certified. We hope these lines will alleviate your concerns. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
Thank you very much, dear M-Infoline team! I'm very pleased, because the dates are so good that I would not have liked to do without them. Have a nice day and best wishes, IchNochmal
