I would like to know how much light the film lets through. For my application, it should be as opaque as possible (so that you can't see what's behind the film from the outside), but darken as little as possible. I have seen that other suppliers state the light transmission in %. Is there such a value for this film?

Here is the information from the supplier: Unfortunately, we do not have any values for the percentage light transmission of our window films, but we assume a light transmission of 80 to 90 %. As we have been asked about this again and again in recent months, we will commission a larger-scale test regarding light transmission in the summer, when we will be able to provide more detailed information. I have received the following feedback from the supplier: it is important that the surface is very smooth, even, free of dust and grease and that it is applied with water. It does not matter whether it is a window pane or other surfaces such as a mirror. We do not recommend applying behind the hob, as our films are designed for room temperature. (23 °C +- 2 °C).
