Hello dear Migros team. Is this product fully cooked / sterilized? I am currently pregnant and am careful not to eat raw meat. Thank you :)

Too high an intake of vitamin A in early pregnancy can lead to malformations in the child. As a rule, excessive amounts of vitamin A are not ingested through the diet. However, there is a risk when eating liver and liver products and taking vitamin A supplements. Why is this product made with palm oil? That is not necessary.

Wherever possible, we try to avoid using palm oil. If it is a mandatory component of a product, we make sure that it is sustainably extracted. Personally, I liked the old recipe much better. You could also keep the tube with the old recipe in the larder without it spoiling. Unfortunately, this is no longer possible with the new recipe. I hadn't paid attention to the fact that it had to be kept refrigerated and of course it promptly spoiled. I also don't find it as tasty as before. Sure, before you had to make an effort to get the cream out of the tube, but it was worth it. It's a real shame, now the sandwich cream just isn't as good.

Only the consistency of the product has been changed, but this has no effect on the taste.
As for storage, you are right. The sandwich cream must now be kept in the refrigerator after it has been opened.

"The product is really VERY good,
BUT: the TUBE is much too 'hard' or inflexible for 'old' hands - like mine (or 'small' hands in general)! Too bad.
I realize, of course, that the (perishable) contents require a sturdy outer shell, but couldn't this be remedied with a 'slimmer' or smaller tube?

Thanks for your tip. In larger Migros stores you can get a free aid to make it easier to squeeze out the tube. It's best to ask directly at the store.
We also recommend taking the sandwich cream out of the fridge approx. 15 minutes before consumption. The cream is then softer and easier to handle.
