Why do the super fine ice creams come in super solid plastic containers that can easily be reused many times over? Is there no way to sell the same ice cream with significantly less waste?
Hello Guetzli18, as of 2022, we have switched the first part of our Crème d'Or brand to more sustainable packaging with the 500 ml cans. This has also enabled us to save material. The material was changed from polystyrene (PS) to polypropylene (PP). This enables us to achieve a better environmental balance and use a recyclable material. With the new can, we made sure that all components are made from the same material, thus creating the conditions for a circular economy. Our aim is to use recycled plastic for our packaging in the future. We are also working on gradually converting our packaging to a sustainable alternative. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
