The product does not have a sealed plastic lid, which usually protects the contents from the outside. Is this normal? (I'm not talking about the lid of the container, but really the plastic thing that ensures no one has opened it before)
Hello Question1577, thank you for your request. The Crème d'Or box has a seal (under the lid) that acts as a first-opening protection. We have deliberately incorporated an unsealed area of about 1 cm, because when the ice hardens in the refrigeration channel, the mass expands, and if the seal were continuous, the operculum would swell and could lift the lid of the box. If your can does not have this first-opening guarantee, you can exchange it at your local store. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Unfortunately, I find it difficult to portion this product with an ice cream spoon. Is there a trick? Defrosting - yes, but I usually only need a few portions and don't want to defrost the entire contents. Why is M-Classic Glacè easier to portion?
Hello orangesM Thank you for your inquiry. We recommend that you take the ice cream pack out of the freezer, leave it to stand for two to three minutes and then form balls with the ice cream spoon. M-Classic ice cream contains emulsifiers and stabilizers (declared as E numbers in the list of ingredients), which ensure a better shelf life and a soft texture. The Crème d'or ice cream is free from E-numbers, so the structure of the ice cream is slightly different from that of the M-Classic ice cream. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us! Best regards, your M-Infoline team

I no longer like the taste of the crème d'or vanilla glacé. Why is this such a bad improvement? I find it annoying when such a delicious vanilla glacé suddenly no longer tastes of vanilla but of an indefinable cocktail of flavors. Fortunately, there is still the vanilla organic glacé.
Dear guest
Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that you are not satisfied with the new vanilla glaze recipe.
Our development department has been working for some time on switching to natural flavors for new recipes. In order for the flavor characteristics to develop optimally and to achieve a creamy texture, more cream was needed for the ice cream.
Most ice creams contain flavorings, which gives them a more intense taste. Compared to an ice cream without flavorings or with natural flavorings, this can be perceived as less tasty.
Before products are launched on the market, the popularity of various product structures is tested by tasting teams. New products or recipe changes are also presented to the Federation of Migros Cooperatives for assessment.
We are aware that this assessment and selection process can never cover all customer tastes. However, as a clear majority prefer the current recipe and the sales figures are extremely pleasing, we are convinced that we have made the right decision.
We hope you will understand and remain loyal to our products.
Best regards
Your M-Infoline Team

Hello,
Yes, we too were fans of the old vanilla crème d'or! The current formula has an artificial vanilla taste that's frankly bof-bof. The vanilla taste is also found in the new petit beurre cookies. Too bad....
We won't be buying any more of these products, on which we've been spending lavishly for a very long time.
Hello and welcome to Migipedia
Thank you for your comment. We are sorry that you are not satisfied with our product.
It's been a while since our development department changed the new recipes and now uses natural flavors instead. To obtain a creamy structure and to allow the flavors to develop better, we had to add more cream.
Most ice creams contain flavourings, which intensify the taste.
We are aware that this evaluation and selection process can never cover all customer tastes.
We wish you a good week
Best regards
