Noooo sooo sad!!! The new recipe is a big disappointment for me! The great strong espresso taste is gone and as others have already written, my former absolute favorite (see below) now tastes creamy, just like all the other mocha glaces on the market. Is there nothing that can be done about it? For lovers of café crème, there is also the Cappuccino&Chocolate flavor. For me, this is the best coffee ice cream there is, it really tastes like strong coffee and not like a latte macchiato. It's also great with a shot of Sambuca ;-).

We are aware that there are loyal fans who preferred the previous product. As a result, there is little sympathy for such an adaptation. We wanted to adapt the taste from Swiss milk coffee to the typical Espresso Doppio. From our point of view, this is a clear improvement, as the coffee taste is more pronounced. Well, in that case I just have to season it myself (with espresso powder, instant coffee, etc.) or look for alternatives. As a product name, however, Swiss milk coffee would probably be more appropriate than Espresso Doppio. I'm glad that several other consumers (see comments) also find the coffee taste of the new recipe less intense.

I often eat this ice cream. It is very tasty, but what annoys me is the covering foil. The golden foil is difficult to remove and I often have to peel it off with a knife so that it doesn't tear completely. I was delighted when it was replaced by a white foil that comes off effortlessly. I was very surprised to receive goods with the golden foil again the next time I went shopping. I naturally wondered whether it was old goods. Then it changed again and now the golden foil is back in circulation. Why the back and forth?

Hello Lizvonaesch, we were happy to ask the specialist department what the different films are all about. You didn't get any "old" ice cream. We are switching to the new white film on a rolling basis for all varieties, which means that both films will be in circulation for a certain period of time, as we also want to use up the old packaging material and not simply dispose of it. Why are only three flavors discounted in the current Crème d'or promotion? I have always benefited from these promotions, bought my favorite variety (Espresso doppio) and tried new things. Will there still be promotions on all flavors in the future?
