Is the E471 of animal or vegetable origin?
Hello Bubu81, thank you for your question. Emulsifiers such as E471 and E472 (mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids) or E475 (polyglycerol esters of fatty acids), which we use to produce these crème cornets, are always of vegetable origin. Our manufacturer, the Fresh Food & Beverage Group, always uses vegetable fats and oils or butter for the production of bread and baked goods. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
Thank you for your quick reply. How can I check whether the products are manufactured by Fresh Food and Beverage Group? It used to be declared, but now it only says "manufactured in Switzerland, distributed by migros cooperative association"
Hello Bubu81, thank you for your renewed question. According to our specialist department, all products manufactured by theFresh Food and Beverage Group ("FFB Group" for short) are labeled in the same way. There are also cooperatives that manufacture their own products, which are labeled differently. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
