Has the recipe changed along with the packaging? Previously they were gluten-free, now it says "contains wheat". I find it a bit tricky that this is not mentioned, and it's a shame that they are now taboo for me...
Hello avt, NO recipe changes have been made to the Cornatur pepper steak. The declaration has already been adjusted in 2019 in the interests of transparency, since then the list of ingredients has included Dried glucose syrup (contains wheat). Glucose syrup is a pure substance and has no allergenic potential. Therefore, it does NOT have to be avoided in a gluten-free diet, even if it was originally obtained from wheat. Cornatur pepper steak is therefore also suitable for a gluten-free diet. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Is this product made without animal rennet and gelatine?
Hi Michi2000, the product bears the V-Label "vegetarian" on the packaging. In order to be able to label a product with the V-Label, it must be certified according to the standard of the European Vegetarian Union ("V-Label"). The V-Label guarantees that all ingredients as well as all additives (E-numbers) and processing aids used are vegetarian or vegan. The Quorn pepper grill steak must therefore contain neither gelatine nor animal rennet. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
