Has anything been changed in the recipe recently? They used to be the best corn cobs, the last 2 jars we bought were inedible, tasted kind of chemical, medicinal... can we bring them back?
Hello dried fruit parrot, thank you very much for your message. What a shame that you couldn't enjoy your favorite as usual. We apologize for the inconvenience. Our clarifications with the responsible specialist department revealed that your concerns are unfounded. There was no change to the recipe. However, there was no indication of any abnormalities in our production documents. The tasting of various samples from different production series also proved to be flawless. Based on these results, we cannot explain the cause of the unusual taste. Those responsible are keeping an eye on the issue and will take action if necessary. Of course, if you are not satisfied with the quality of the goods, you can return them to the place of purchase. You will receive a replacement or a refund at the store. We hope you will give our corn cobs another chance to convince you of their valued quality. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
Our newly bought jars also taste so inedible. We already had two of these jars a week ago. After the first one wasn't good, we opened a second one, but this one tasted funny straight away. (We bought them together)
Today we had another one at the family party, which was so unpalatable, but we didn't buy it. Since one jar tasted normal and one tasted terrible, we compared them:
The "older jar" from the stock with the expiration date 09/2025 tasted normal, the "new one" with the date 03/2026 was weird. I therefore suspect that something really went wrong with the production or recipe of the newer jars.
Perhaps the specialist department can check this again. It would be a real shame if they stayed like this.
Hello HazelnutFish, thank you for your description. We have discussed the quality again with the specialist department. Nothing has been changed in the recipe. This is a natural product, which can vary slightly in taste depending on the harvest. We hope the next jar will be flawless again. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
Hello, I felt the same way: I used to love these corn kölbli, now they taste funny and are less crunchy.

Where are the Condi corn cobs??????? For months now, we've only had these corn cobs from Fischer in Migros. They are absolutely inedible - totally soft and sweet. Dear Migros team, this can't be right! Throw this German Fischer product off the shelves into the bin! Reto Müller

Dear guest
Thank you for your contribution.
As already stated below, the reason for the interruption in the supply of Condy corn cobs is still due to the long-term effects of the Thai floods around a year ago.
When around a third of Thailand's land area was flooded by monsoon rains, the fields and factories of our producers were not spared. In order to ensure the country's own supply, most of the maize was not exported. Although some deliveries have arrived, they do not cover the enormous demand in any way. As we are not the only ones internationally who demand corn cobs, there is an enormous shortage.
We hope to be able to supply the usual quality of corn kernels again as soon as possible, but ask for your patience and understanding.
See you soon in your Migros!

The Mauskölbchen are the best, when will they be available again?
We urgently need them right now for the holidays!
Or does anyone know if there are similar ones somewhere?
The ones I have tried are inedible because they are far too sour!!!
Dear laura_pausini
We are delighted that you like these corn cobs so much.
Unfortunately, we do not yet know when the product will be available on our shelves again. As described below, this still has to do with the floods in Thailand over a year ago. We very much regret this and are making every effort to be able to offer the product again as soon as possible.

Condy's corn cobs are by far the best tasting!!! Hopefully they will be available again soon! Do you already know more about the situation?
Dear guest
Thank you for your interest in this product.
It is true that the usual corn cobs have been out of stock for some time. This is a long-term effect of the floods in Thailand about a year ago. Unusually heavy and prolonged monsoon rains flooded six million hectares of land in 58 of Thailand's 77 provinces between the end of July and the end of November 2011 (equivalent to a third of the country's surface area). Millions of people were affected, including our producers.
Initially, the fields and factories of producers and suppliers were flooded and devastated, after which the crisis led to a switch to other crops, primarily rice and sugar beet, to supply the country's own needs. The sowing of export maize was largely abandoned. Since then, the entire industry and supply chain has been hoping for a "normalization" of the procurement situation - but so far, all hopes have been regularly dashed. Although it has been possible to obtain one or two deliveries in the meantime, in view of the high demand, this is tantamount to a drop in the ocean.
And as (international) competitors are also struggling with the same bottlenecks, demand is "pooling" in procurement. We are making every effort to procure and offer corncobs that meet our quality standards as soon as possible.
We regret not being able to give you a positive answer, but wish you a pleasant autumn day. your M-Infoline Team

Dear guest
Thank you for your comment.
It is true that the usual corn cobs have been on supply interruption for quite some time.
This is an (indirect) long-term effect of the floods in Thailand about a year ago. We are making every effort to procure and offer corn cobs that meet our quality standards as soon as possible. In the meantime, we unfortunately have to ask you and our other customers to make do with the few alternative items.
We hope for your understanding!

Weak. The Gundelsheim corn cobs were much, much, much better. Probably more expensive to buy... Taste should have been the deciding factor here.
Hello guest
We are sorry that you do not like the Condy corn cobs. With our products, we try to meet as many customers' tastes as possible. However, we are also aware that this can never be completely successful.
Various factors play a role in a product change, such as the availability of the required quantities, the price, the packaging, etc.
Best regards from the M-Infoline team

Personally, I think these Condy corn cobs are the best, they have just the right sour note and the seasoning is also very good.
However, I have noticed that these Condy corn cobs have not been available in Migros for a week, unfortunately I don't know the reason yet.
It's a mess that no Migros has them in stock!

Why does Migros no longer sell condy corn cobs? They were simply the best! Where can you still buy them?

In my test basket: as far as taste goes, nothing to complain about, it's absolutely delicious! One small regret: does this corn have to grow in Thailand and travel halfway around the world to reach our plates?
Hi
Thanks for your contribution
Thailand is the main producer of corn cobs. Although our supplier is based in Switzerland, the corn cobs are imported from Thailand. It would otherwise not be possible to meet demand.
Have a nice day.
