«The CoffeeB machine has received mixed reviews, with many praising its eco-friendly design and compostable coffee balls. However, numerous customers report issues with functionality, such as the coffee being watery and problems with the ball dispenser. Overall, while the concept is appreciated, many feel the coffee quality and machine reliability need significant improvement.»

I was initially very enthusiastic about the coffee from this machine. We also really like it. I was very disappointed when, after two years and about ten days, the machine dripped into the drip tray. I then went to the Migros where I bought it and asked if there was anything that could be done under warranty. The employee's answer was that the warranty is exactly 24 months and it's not worth repairing the machine. I should dispose of it and buy a new one. A special answer. I have heard from others that the machine has a few problems and I would have hoped for a little more goodwill. A little more goodwill. Too bad never had a machine that only lasted two years.
I recently won it in a competition and so far I'm thrilled with the concept
Bought 2 years ago and already repaired 4 times. In the meantime, it has been replaced twice free of charge, but even that was defective again after a few weeks. Catastrophic mechanics.
We are satisfied
+ easy to clean
+ very quiet
+ good coffee in different variations
+ appealing, compact design, operation works perfectly
+ waste can be composted without packaging (or turned into plant soil)
Update: Ball container now works tiptop, thanks for the free retrofit! - Container for coffee balls does not turn properly when full (we have simply removed it and take the coffee from the small boxes. As we like to have different ones to choose from, the container wouldn't really serve us anyway)
Frankly, it's clearly not up to scratch.... poor quality of the pseudo-plastic machine, tasteless and acidic coffee... really bad. Might as well have a small traditional Italian coffee maker and freshly ground coffee. Very disappointing...
Great idea with the environmentally friendly balls, but it's a shame that matching ones are only available in Migros. The lever doesn't go up automatically at some point, but that doesn't matter. I don't use the ball dispenser at the top either. It is tedious when sometimes a used ball gets stuck and you have to scrape it from the bottom with your fingers. But it's actually a very nice design and the taste of the balls is comparable to Nespresso.
The coffee is good quality and I enjoy drinking it.
I won the machine in a competition, it seems to be robust and so far there have been no problems.
I bought the machine two years ago. I have already had it repaired once during the warranty period. Now that the warranty has expired and the lever no longer works, I was told it wasn't worth repairing. This statement by one of their employees is not at all in line with the concept of sustainability. ☹️
The machine won in a competition is a joy to use. Easy to use and adjustable coffee length. Unfortunately, the button for hot water cannot be programmed. The capsule dispenser is more of a toy, you can put the capsule directly into the opening. I'm also curious about the long-term behavior.
A good, reliable machine
