I'm crazy about the water chestnuts in this product, they have such a great bite and the taste is also extremely cool. Unfortunately, this vegetable is hard to find, although it is available in many stores in Germany as a canned product or in jars, or in some Asian markets. Couldn't you include water chestnuts as a single product in your range?

Is it really necessary for this product to be imported from China? As I have family in China, I am there regularly, and food safety / lax quality control has been a huge issue among Chinese people for years. Most people who can afford it there only eat food that comes from Western countries. Is this product tested for heavy metals, pesticide and herbicide residues?
Hello Simon3047, thank you for your comment. Virtually all vegetable mono-products are tested for a total of 196 pesticides. Tests are also carried out in the field and on the farms for heavy metals, which are difficult for vegetables to deposit due to the lack of fat. In the case of mixed products, in addition to the checks on the individual raw materials (mono-products), production samples and other samples are routinely analyzed. We also carry out tests in Switzerland on products that we buy in the stores like our customers and then test. We are convinced of the cooperation with our supplier, have already visited them several times on site and have never been able to detect any unauthorized or undeclared substances.
