Cress vinegar is the best for me
How is the bottle disposed of correctly? Can it really not be recycled? (No PET or bottle symbol on it)
Good evening sevjan BOTTLES FOR VINEGAR, OIL AND SALAD SAUCES Although most of these bottles are made of PET, they must not be disposed of in the PET collection. Oil and vinegar residues cause complications in the washing process and in the treatment of the material. Dispose of these bottles in the separate collection of plastic bottles at most large retailers. Source: petricycling.ch Best regardsFrederica
I work in the beverage industry, only beverage bottles are allowed in the PET bags or collection points.
Thanks for the answers. Yes exactly, definitely not in PET. However, as there was no return bottle symbol (https://api.i-web.ch/public/guest/getImageString/g185/74c8c525c146db6a20f63ee511dc9cc9/300/0/545b3bb65e1b7) on it, I was a bit unsure. I have now found it here in the general description: Plastic bottles (_not PET drinks bottles_): https://www.migros.ch/de/Magazin/2020/neue-recyclingwand.html ...What is collected: Empty plastic bottles with lids from dairy products, detergents and cleaning agents as well as soaps, lotions, shampoos, shower gels, vinegar, oil and sauces. The rule is: air out, lid on!...
Hello sevjan, thank you for your inquiry about disposing of the herb vinegar bottle. As you all correctly wrote, PET collection is restricted to drinks bottles. You can put the vinegar bottle in the mixed plastic bottle collection. This includes resealable plastic bottles. You can find more information about recycling on our website: https://www.migros.ch/de/unternehmen/nachhaltigkeit/recycling/tipps-tricks/recycling-guide.html Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Why does vinegar turn opaque a few days after opening? It is stored in a dark place.
Hello Aline1208, thank you for your message. To enable us to make further clarifications on your behalf, please reply to this message and provide us with the following information: - the minimum storage date - the batch or lot numbers The batch or lot number is usually found next to the product's storage date and usually begins with the letter L. It can also be made up of a succession of letters and numbers. This information will help us to know when the item in question was produced and whether any known production errors occurred at that time. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
Hello, Thank you for your feedback - The minimum storage date is 05.06.23 - The batch number is L116600975 I bought this bottle in August. Previously, the same thing had happened with another bottle. A white moldy "disk" had formed on the surface of the vinegar. If you read the comments, there is another person who mentioned this problem in July. Thank you. Aline
Hello Aline1208, thank you for your message. In this case, the opacity you noted is due to the so-called "vinegar mother". This is a natural process, not a sign of an out-of-date product. The vinegar can still be used and consumed. Opacity indicates the presence of active acetic bacteria. These bacteria are traditionally used to make vinegar. They have no impact on quality, and are in fact a sign of the product's natural, organic origin. If this phenomenon bothers you, you can pour the vinegar over a paper filter for your coffee. It will then regain its clarity. We have passed on your comment to our quality assurance department during production, so that it can be taken into account in regular checks and the vinegar can be offered again in its usual form. Yours sincerely, the M-Infoline team
Hello, thank you very much for your follow up and these very clear and useful explanations. With my best regards.

I think it would be great if Migros would also include the organic Kressi herbal vinegar in its range.
Hello pgoetschel, thank you for your message. There are currently no plans to expand the Kressi line. However, the relevant specialist department is aware of your request and is keeping an eye on it. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
