Dear Migipedia team There is a best-before date printed on the Delizo coffee capsules. Can the coffee still be consumed after the expiry date? I thought coffee has an "eternal" shelf life. How is this date to be understood? Many thanks in advance!
...is a quality criterion and is used for foods with a longer shelf life (rice, cereal products, etc.). The manufacturer guarantees perfect quality if stored appropriately. Expired products can often be consumed for a longer period of time. The product may lose its taste or consistency. Source: BAG
Super thanks Istanbul. Then the coffee can still be drunk without problems and stomach pains :-)
Hello JK_83 The best-before date can be found on products that are offered unrefrigerated and frozen. The best-before date is to be understood as a recommendation, compliance with which guarantees optimum quality. If products are stored for longer than this, a loss of quality must be expected and coffee will lose its aroma. From a health point of view, it is safe to consume coffee even after the best-before date has expired. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

I still have a packet of the caramel coffee that we don't drink. If you'll pay the postage, I'd be happy to send it to you.
The vanilla version is currently available again, at least in certain stores.

And again me, again with a coffee request:
Please include the former "limited editions" Caramelllo and Vanilla in the standard range, they were simply great! Unfortunately, there is only the "clone capsule" for Nespresso with vanilla flavor. What a pity.
Greetings Simona
Dear guest
Thank you for your inquiry. We are delighted that you enjoyed the two Delizio Limited Edition varieties "Vaniglia" and "Caramello" so much.
Unfortunately, our shelf space is limited, so we have to remove one item from the range every time we launch a new product. This is why we stock our limited editions, so that we can bring some variety to the range.
We currently have the DelizioBrazil limited edition variety in our range. We hope that this variety will also appeal to you.
We have also asked our specialists to consider relaunching the "Caramello" and "Vaniglia" varieties.
We hope for your understanding and look forward to your next visit! Your M-Infoline team

Good day
Can the Boncampo capsules be used for Delizio or not? According to media reports this week (and the Migros reply below) yes, but according to the packaging label no (only for Nespresso machines). There must be a cheaper alternative to the Delizio capsules! Otherwise all your customers will jump ship and buy a Nespresso after all, because it's a much cheaper way to drink coffee. Instead of the expensive redesign of the packaging, it would have been better to lower the prices...
Greetings Simona

There are two Boncampo capsules. One is only suitable for Nespresso, the other for Delizio. You can find the one for Delizio here: http://www.migipedia.ch/de/lebensmittel/kaffee-tee/kaffee/boncampo-classico-30-kapseln/165g
Hello Simona
Thank you for your comment. We will be happy to answer your question.
What Gast has already written is correct. The fact is that we offer both Café Royal capsules and Delizio capsules under Boncampo. Below you will find a picture of the Delizio-compatible capsule.
We hope this answer is helpful for you and wish you lots of coffee enjoyment with the capsules from Migros!

Good day
A few years ago, I switched from Nespresso to Delizio.
On the one hand because Delizio capsules are cheaper and on the other hand because I would like to buy my coffee as part of a normal shopping trip to Migros.
Now I was surprised to discover that Delizio capsules cost more (43Rp/pc) than Kaffee Royal capsules for Nespresso coffee machines (38Rp/pc).
In my opinion, this is not quite right. I opted for a Migros product, replaced my Nespresso coffee machine with a Delizio coffee machine (299.-!!) and now realize that products for third-party machines are being sold at a lower price.
How can Migros justify this?
At the end of the day, it's a ridiculous 5 centimes per capsule. However, there should be some kind of code of honor on your part as far as buyers of such a product chain are concerned. After all, the buyer of a Delizio coffee machine makes himself dependent on buying your Delizio capsules.
Please do not exploit this product dependency ;-)
Best regards, Eric
Hello Eric
Thank you for your comment.
There are indeed numerous so-called "capsule copies" of the Nespresso system on the market today. These come at a wide range of prices, qualities and often uncertain compatibility with the machine.
Delizio's quality range is based on the market leader Nespresso, because Delizio is supposed to be the best alternative to Nespresso. Delizio is an independent, closed capsule system in which the capsules, machines and accessories are perfectly coordinated. The line offers its own world of taste with a diverse selection of exquisite coffees and teas.
However, as it is also important for many Delizio customers to get the best possible value for money, the range also includes Boncampo brand coffee capsules. Boncampo capsules are currently available for CHF 0.25 per capsule and round off the diverse range, although you also have the option of switching to a classic fully automatic system. Migros has an excellent selection of coffee beans at very reasonable prices, while Melectronics sells fully automatic machines from just a few hundred francs. Depending on the variety chosen, a cup of coffee only costs around 5 to 15 centimes.
Furthermore, only Delizio offers a unique bonus program. Thanks to this, you have the opportunity to get your Delizio machine free of charge for a lifetime. Simply collect enough capsule points with Cumulus and redeem them at delizio.ch.
As sustainability is important to us, we only process coffee with UTZ certification. This guarantees not only fair wages, but also environmentally friendly production. Further information can be found here: www.delizio.ch/utz
We hope this information is helpful for you and wish you a wonderful summer!

Dear Migros team
I recently bought Lungo Leggero capsules instead of Lungo Crema capsules by mistake - the colors of the pack are very similar... I've heard from friends that this has also happened to others.
As Migros (understandably) does not take back food, I now have to drink the thin coffee.
Couldn't the color of one variety be changed to make it easier to distinguish the products?
Thank you for considering my suggestion
Dear guest
Thank you for your comment. We always welcome both positive and critical feedback. At the same time, we regret that you got the wrong capsule.
The specialist department informs us that several thousand purchase decisions have been evaluated in this regard. In addition, numerous discussions have taken place on this topic.
For the vast majority of our customers, "lungo or espresso" is the first important decision and must therefore be clearly emphasized.
Of course, clear labeling is just as important. However, those responsible are of the opinion that terms such as "Crema" or "Fortissimo" are sufficiently emphasized on the white background and in capital letters. The color differences should also help with orientation.
Nevertheless, we have asked the responsible department to review your input during the next product analysis.
Thank you for shopping with us - see you soon in your Migros!
Best regards from the M-Infoline team

Hello a question can I get the Delizio capsules somewhere in Austria because I have one of your coffee machines?
Dear guest
Thank you for your inquiry.
Our Delizio capsules are only available in Switzerland.

I cannot insert the coffee capsules pictured above into the Nespresso machine. The edge where the capsule is pierced has too large a diameter. I use a TURMIX Pixie Nespresso capsule machine (new 2014). Is this intentional or have I bought the wrong capsules?
Yes, in this case you have bought the wrong capsules. These are only for Delizio coffee machines.

Guest
ok thanks, then I'll take a closer look next time.
Hello Mellorion
Thank you for your question. Yes, you have got the wrong capsules for your machine. You can only use Delizio capsules in a Delizio machine. Our Café Royal capsules are suitable for your Nespresso machine. You can find out all about Café Royal here: http://www.cafe-royal.com. We hope you enjoy trying it out!

about the delizio machine: could it be that it heats up too much and therefore the coffee always tastes "burnt"? merci :-)
"...it has been standing around in the kitchen for almost a year, hardly used...", is written elsewhere.
Maybe it needs a few strokes now! :-)
do you mean that it "recovers" again? after a few weeks of use? (i was also abroad for a year and couldn't use it during that time either ;-) and now the 2-year warranty is over...)
Hi Kathrin
Thank you for your request.
We have clarified this with our producer and can tell you the following: The temperature of the machine must not be set above 90°C. This can cause the coffee to taste burnt. Such high temperatures are common with the Compact Automatic or Una machines.
To prevent such temperatures, you can have the flowmeter replaced by M-Service.
We hope this helps you and wish you a good day.

I would like to know if the Delizio capsules are also made of aluminum like those from Nespresso. Thank you for your prompt information.
Bob
Hello guest
Thank you for your inquiry.
The Delizio capsules are made of plastic and not aluminum like the Nespresso capsules. The Delizio capsules can therefore be disposed of in the household waste.
We hope this helps you and wish you happy holidays!
