I am Italian and know good chestnuts. These were a big disappointment. Around 80% of the chestnuts in the bag were spoiled: darkly discolored on the inside, rotten or completely dried out. None were really fresh. Whether boiled or roasted, they could not be peeled. For 9.50 Fr. per kilo, I would have expected fresh, light-colored chestnuts from this year, not these old ones. 1 star is too many!

I've had better quality, many are no longer quite so fresh...
Unfortunately very poor quality. Only four good ones in the net and incredibly bad for peeling. Really disappointing.
