Does this product contain animal rennet? It is on the list "Cheese without animal rennet" from Migros, but in Italian the ingredients also include "caglio caprino"

Hello bradipolpo, thank you for your comment! We are happy to inform you that the information on our leaflet "Cheese without animal rennet" is correct. Chavroux is produced without animal rennet, the list of ingredients in Italian is incorrect. We have gladly arranged for the error to be corrected. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Does this product also contain bovine rennet (such as Tendre Bûche)?

Hello
Thank you for your request.
We are delighted that you like our Chavroux. Until recently, we also sold a Chavroux in the Léger version. Unfortunately, this product is no longer produced by the supplier and we are therefore no longer able to offer a lighter version.
We wish you a pleasant evening Your M-Infoline Team

Chavroux goat's milk cheese, packaged in a pyramid shape, is on the Migipedia list. A supposedly identical product, which is also sold by Migros, is in roll form and also has 'Tendre Bûche' printed on it in blue to distinguish it. However, this roll form is not goat's cheese, but a soft cream cheese preparation. At first glance you think cheese is cheese, but ohalätz: 1. it is not made from French goat's milk, 2. it has flavoring!!! in it, 3. it has gelatine!!! in it, pleasant for people who don't want to eat pork, and 4. it has an emulsifier in it, E 471, which is either genetically engineered or made from animal products. The packaging says so beautifully: 100% goat's milk, pure nature, pur plaisir. For me, this is fraud.

Thank you for your Migipedia article.
As the usual soft cheeses made from goat's milk are rather dry on the palate, our master cheesemakers have added gelatine and emulsifier E471. This gives the specialty its unique smoothness, which is highly appreciated by most consumers. For this reason, and also by law, this product is declared as a soft cream cheese preparation.
Natural flavoring is an ingredient that may be used for cheese production in accordance with the law (817.022.108 Ordinance of the FDHA on Foodstuffs of Animal Origin). Under no circumstances is it a chemical flavoring.
Art. 37 Processing aids and methods
1 The following are permitted in cheese production
a. cultures of lactic acid and aroma-producing bacteria (including special cultures), yeasts and molds that are harmless to health;
b. the use of processing aids (Art. 16 LGV) and table salt.
The milk comes from the European Union, as declared on the packaging. The milk also comes 100% from goats.

But this is anything but "pure nature"!
