Why is the list of ingredients not in German?
Good evening Kafioma Is in Dutch for some reason. I translated it from French: Ingredients: Goat's milk (origin:France), pasteurized goat's cream, salt, natural goat's flavour, gelatine, emulsifier E471, ferments, rennet. Produced in a cheese dairy that uses goat's and cow's milk. By the way: Last year, Parliament decided that ingredients and nutritional values only have to be declared in one national language for reasons of competition. This product is a cheese speciality and not a cheese. The gelatin used is of porcine origin. It is used to give the product its special texture and melt-in-the-mouth texture.
The rennet is of bovine origin.

Tendre buche is not a cheese, but a fresh cheese preparation. The goat's milk does not come from France either, as is the case with the pyramid shape. This means that you take a little goat's milk from somewhere, mix in emulsifiers (presumably made from pork), flavoring and other ingredients that have no place in a cheese and sell the whole thing with the same design and everyone thinks they are buying a quality product.

It is true that Chavroux's Tendre Bûche is not a cheese in the traditional sense.
Our master cheesemakers add gelatine and emulsifiers to the cheese to achieve a perfect texture. This is also clearly stated on the packaging. The added flavoring is a natural goat flavoring.
