For several years, I regularly bought the garlic croutons that Migros imported from the USA.
Now there are new croutons, Roman's Croûtons from Switzerland, in packaging that looks very similar to the old ones from the USA.
But the contents are in no way comparable. The new product is a big disappointment. I will be making my own salad croutons in future.....
I think it's an impertinence that the new packaging is almost identical to that of the American product..... and the customer buys a product whose contents are so completely different. The customer is also being deceived.
A real shame .......

Dear guest
As already mentioned in other comments, the production facility for croutons was moved from the USA to Switzerland for ecological reasons, among others. However, the supplier remained the same.
The relocation of the production facility also meant that new, different machines were put into operation. After receiving a number of complaints from our customers, we discussed the problem with the supplier and looked for solutions.
We can now tell you that we have been able to halve the butter content, which can cause a slightly rancid smell.
However, we are still working on optimizing the product. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

We noticed exactly the same thing. After years of having these croutons on almost every salad, they are suddenly no longer desirable. The new ones somehow taste greasier to us.

Hello
Well, I feel the same way. I've enjoyed these garlic croutons for years and they've never been missing from a salad. I loved them.
Now the "recipe" has somehow been changed and the new ones don't taste good at all. They are greasy and have a taste all of their own and, above all, a strange aftertaste.
What has happened, why do they have to change something that was so good?
Has anyone contacted Migros yet?
Dear guest
The supplier is still the same, but the production facility has been relocated from America to Switzerland. This is more environmentally friendly. In internal tastings we found the Swiss quality to be good.

What happened to this product? Either the supplier has changed, or the recipe has changed, or a whole batch has gone wrong. It's been on every salad we've had for three weeks now and is simply awful.
Hello sandberg
The supplier is still the same, only the production facility has been relocated to Switzerland. This is more environmentally friendly than before, when the goods were imported from America. We have approved the Swiss quality in internal tastings, as we could not recognize any major deviations.
We regret that you no longer like the croutons and will take it up with us.
