What is this? The M-Classic espresso has disappeared from the shelves! This after decades and Migros always says it wants to go back to its own brands! Stop telling us such fairy tales! It's almost no fun shopping with you anymore
Hello zueri4, thank you for your question. In which branch are you missing the coffee? Best regards, your M-Infoline team

On the old packaging, the strength is given as 4 beans out of 5. Here, however, a 3 is now given as the strength. The Caruso series was always weaker in strength than the Espresso Classico. Have the beans from the Caruso series now been used and the old beans are no longer available? If so, I won't be buying any more coffee from Migros. It was the only one that suited me. I buy between 30-40kg a year
Hello Giancarlo3, thank you for your inquiry. We have some good news for you: The new Caruso Espresso Aromatico corresponds to the "old" Caruso Espresso recipe. However, we have reviewed the ratings as part of the Caruso project. We rebalanced the products according to the scale. The product was therefore given a new strength level. Has only the packaging been changed or is this a completely new product? Does the old Espresso Classico no longer exist?
Hello Nicole15, thank you for your inquiry. We have only changed the packaging here, the contents have remained the same. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
That's very good! I liked the old packaging much better though, nice retro look. The new packaging looks rather average and blends in with the other packaging. What a pity.

Why is the product not available? MM MURI 4.OKT 22, Fahrwangen 6.Okt.22. Not a single 1 kg package to be found. Despite promotion announcement. Very weak.
Hello schwarz00, thank you for your message. The item is only available in selected stores due to low demand. In your area, these are the Affoltern a. A. and Bremgarten AG stores. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
Affoltern and Bremgarten are supposed to be near me? So please, such nonsense and incompetent statements. I have 4-5 stores nearby, i.e. between 2 and max. 10 km, where I have often shopped for years. And you think I should now shop in stores that are 20 km away? Are you serious? Another great idea by one of their optimizers to remove products from the range in an entire local region and then point to stores far away. Unsustainable. I'm annoyed with M and think this approach is totally wrong. This product was often sold out, especially when on promotion. I will avoid M in future, not just for coffee, of course. Coop, Aldi, Lidl also have good products in their range, in all stores, nearby and not 20 km away. MIGROS is becoming increasingly unattractive and a disappointment. More and more stores are opening, but with a limited range? What's the point? I can't believe this approach. According to their information, none of the 4-5 stores in my immediate vicinity still have this in their range. Not even in the brand new Villmergen store. What a disgrace. I will take this into account in future. Kind regards
I completely agree, it's a shame that the smaller stores only have a few products left. At least we as customers should be able to order, but the stores are obviously not allowed to do that either. I don't understand this approach at all, it's neither customer-friendly, nor an incentive to visit the smaller stores, nor environmentally friendly. I would be pleased to see such "optimizations" being considered, but I don't see any advantage.
Because Migros does not work with few Faces (rows on the shelves) as a matter of principle. Coop, on the other hand, often works a lot with 1m Faces and thus clutters up the shelves. In addition, demand is not universal. You can't expect the same assortment in a 1m store as in a 2 MM or 3 MMM store. Migros also has a large in-house industry. It can hardly afford to keep unprofitable products forever...

Super coffee
I have often noticed that the packaging is not always the same.
Sometimes you see beans on the shelf that are visible through the packaging (vacuum-packed?), sometimes the packaging seems to be inflated (modified atmosphere?).
I like the taste of both varieties and don't notice any difference.
Isn't it awkward in production to pack one batch one way and the next batch differently?
Seen in the MParc Dreispitz and MM Birsfelden stores.
Hi guest
Thank you very much for your comment.
We are pleased that you like our Espresso Classico coffee. However, we don't know exactly which vacuum-packed coffee packs you mean. We do not currently have any such packs in our range.
We look forward to hearing from you so that we can look into this. In the meantime, we wish you a nice day.
Best regards from the M-Infoline team

Hello M-Infoline Team
I've just returned from shopping at the MM Birsfelden branch and have bought another coffee refill.
I "destroy" about 500g of beans per week. The grinder in the fully automatic machine is set to very fine and maximum quantity. That's how I like my coffee best and the bitter substances come out easily. Of course I drink it without cream or sugar, otherwise I could just warm up Coke ;-)
I still had a 500g pack in stock and bought another 500g pack today, the 1kg shelf was empty.
I bought the older pack about a week ago and the beans are starting to show. The ones I bought today are packed rather loosely.
So I quickly looked at the lot number and compared them.
Strangely enough, both say L0000000139 235, best before 31.08.2014.
Apparently this is a "serial dispersion" in the packaging machine. But I've had other packs that were more "inflated".
LG and have a nice weekend
Hello guest
Thank you for your interest in our product.
The Espresso Classico beans (article: 1071.143) are gassed with nitrogen (protective atmosphere). However, roasted beans still outgas a little - this means that CO2 forms in the bean (in the packet) as a result of the processes that take place during roasting. This happens sometimes more and sometimes less. As a result, the packet sometimes expands more and sometimes less. This is a natural process.
The product and the production process are always the same, so there is no discernible difference in taste.
We hope this has been helpful and wish you an enjoyable week. Your M-Infoline Team
