I don't like the alcoholic version, so I was hoping this one would have less smoky, woody notes and a lot more of the promised vanilla and caramel flavors. That's not the case, so I won't be buying it again, but I would try the Lyre's White Cane Spirit if it was ever available.
Ok Not to be compared with the real thing
I was really looking forward to the non-alcoholic rum, but unfortunately the taste was mediocre. It tastes artificial, too sweet and contains a lot of E additives. Too bad, there is certainly room for improvement.
It tastes and smells very much like rum. But is it REALLY rum, from which the alcohol has been filtered (and removed)? I'm FOR all these alcohol-free drinks. BUT (like non-alcoholic beers), it has to be the REAL original drink, from which the alcohol has been removed! This does NOT seem to be the case here. So that doesn't explain the price of 18.95 CHF!!!! That's too expensive for a rum-flavored syrup! Just a little more effort, for all these alcohol-free drinks, and it'll be top-notch! Alcohol is a global health concern!
Very caramelized taste, but goes very well with rum and coke.
Glad to have an alternative to rum with alcohol. Too bad it's only available in large Migros stores.
Very good product, I find it very similar in taste and great to have a non-alcoholic proposal with a "rum". My favorite cocktail is to make a punch with a mix of exotic fruit juice and Captain 0.0.
Good alternative
Very horrible taste, has nothing at all in common with rum...a very, very expensive rum punch mix. Watery and sweet, total disappointment. Never again!!!
