Cetylpyridinium Chloride is an oral antiseptic (antibacterial effect) which, in combination with zinc salts, is also effective against bad breath. Poloxamer 407 is a solubilizer for the non-water-soluble ingredients and methylparaben is a preservative (necessary as alcohol-free formulation). As part of a repositioning of Candida products, the two premium mouthwashes are being offered in 400 ml bottles, but at the same price as the 500 ml bottles previously. This means a price increase (for the first time in years), bringing these specialty products in line with current market prices. Candida Sensitive Plus and Candida Parodin are still around 45 percent cheaper compared to similar quality products. The standard Candida Dental Fluids will continue to be offered in 500 ml bottles at the best price/performance ratio.
