As chewing gum always gives me a sore jaw, I bought these sweets today. I find them very pleasant in terms of taste and freshness. The taste is rather neutral, but I really like this aspect. - Otherwise I would "snack" on too many of them :) What would interest me is what % xylitol is in a sweet? Unfortunately, I can't find any information on the packaging. It would also be great if sweets made of 100% xylitol were available in Migros and did not contain aspartame or other sweeteners :)

We are delighted that you have found a suitable alternative to chewing gum in our Candida Fresh Classic candy. It's great to hear that we have met your taste.
As the Candida Fresh Classic candy is of course a sugar-free product, the sweetness of the sugar, as well as its mass and process properties, must be taken over by other ingredients as the basic ingredient of a normal candy containing sugar.
We use tooth-friendly isomalt as the basic ingredient. Xylitol, on the other hand, is not suitable as a base material for the machine process, so a sweet with 100% xylitol is unfortunately not possible. The Candida Fresh Classic candy has a xylitol content of 1.35%.
On the other hand, as already mentioned, the sweetening power of the sugar has to be replaced by another ingredient. Neither isomalt nor xylitol are sufficient for this, their sweetening power is too low. Therefore, additional sweeteners such as aspartame or acesulfame K must be used to achieve a pleasant sweetness in the candy.
