1 question
Is this coffee suitable for French press?
Hello Huberp85, thank you for your message. You can also use this product for the French press if you prefer very strong coffee. Please note: The French press releases more acidity and caffeine compared to preparation with a portafilter. Otherwise, we recommend the Café Royal MH Honduras Crema beans. Incidentally, the grind for the French press is very coarse, similar to coarse sea salt. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
I make it as filter coffee. It's very good, despite the dark "espresso" roast, and has practically no noticeable acidity despite being filter coffee.
Thanks for the two answers! The coffee tastes great from my French press, the purchase was worth it. Unless someone else is recommended here, I will buy this coffee again. Now I'm thinking about optimizing it: I noticed that my inherited coffee grinder grinds the coffee very finely, contrary to the recommendation of the Migros Infoline. Do you have another coffee that is even better suited for preparation in the French press with a finer grind? Or should I then change the incubation time or the preparation (filter)? In any case, the grinder will remain in use.
Hello Huberp85, if you have had good experiences with this coffee, please stick with it. Using a finer grind for French press is not a problem. If the coffee is too strong/bitter, you can use less ground coffee due to the fine grind, shorten the extraction time or reduce the brewing temperature by 1 - 2 °C. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
