Hello, how is the caffeine removed from coffee? What methods/chemicals are used?
Hello Hansi12, thank you for your question. All our decaffeinated coffees for Café Royal capsules are decaffeinated using the gentle CO2 process. Only CO2 gas and water are used to remove the caffeine from the bean. The unroasted coffee beans are brought into contact with CO2. The CO2 releases the caffeine from the bean at high pressure. The CO2 can be recycled. What remains is the decaffeinated green coffee. No additional chemicals such as solvents etc. are used in the process. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Can you please write the variety on the back of all capsules or somewhere else? That would be very helpful!
Hello Flint4, thank you for your post. We discussed your request with the people responsible. The varieties can currently be identified by the different colors. For reasons of sustainability (reduction/standardization of the foil), we will not write the varieties on the individual capsules in future either. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Unfortunately, you can hardly buy them in any stores. Espresso decaf. is.
Hello dasti, we no longer offer the coffee you are looking for. Our customers have hardly bought it. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Is there a remaining stock of plastic capsules (all types: lungo, espresso, etc.) for sale? I prefer the aluminum capsules, but unfortunately they crush every 2-3 capsules.
Hello Vinci1, thank you for your question. We're sorry that it crushes the capsules. You may still find some leftover stock in the Migros outlets. It is a big challenge to produce compatible capsules for a third-party system. The capsules must be optimally accepted by different coffee machines. In addition, the design must not be identical for patent reasons. If a coffee machine has already been in use for some time, it is possible that its insert needle is somewhat worn. This restricts the use of compatible capsules. Our coffee department is aware of your comment. We are happy to inform you that we have already initiated material optimizations to improve the extraction behavior and the cup result. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
Thank you very much for your detailed reply, I'm glad to hear that something is already being done. For example, the yellow espresso is almost not the case. I am now positive. Best regards Vinci
