How long after the expiration date are they harmless?

Why can't I get this coffee in "my" branch? A very basic question: why are the attractive special varieties only offered in large centers? Do we really need 3 - 4 rows of the same coffee in the country, but no selection? ... even when there is a promotion, you are always forced to travel far to buy "your varieties". Is this type of product distribution/allocation really still appropriate in today's world (environment/travel distances for customers)? Thank you very much for a positive consolidation of the product ranges!
