How much calcium does 100g of buttermilk contain?
Hello Sopra, when it comes to nutritional labeling, we essentially limit ourselves to the legally prescribed information: Energy value (in kJ and kcal), protein, carbohydrates, of which sugar, fat, saturated fatty acids, dietary fiber, salt. The indication of the vitamin or mineral content is voluntary and is usually only analyzed and indicated if this is specifically stated on the label (e.g. contains vitamin C, rich in vitamin C). Unfortunately, we do not have any calcium analyses for "CoR Buttermilk nature" and are therefore unable to provide any precise information on the calcium content of this product. According to the Swiss nutritional value database, buttermilk nature provides an average of 110mg calcium per 100ml; the calcium content of "CoR Buttermilk nature" should also be in this range. Thank you for your reply! Under the article number 204555000000 I get a sour buttermilk, not a.d.R. for CHF 1.15 per 500ml. Surely this is not the same? Thank you for your feedback!
Hello midgard1982 We do not stock buttermilk from the region in the Migros Aare cooperative. As already mentioned, the national article, Buttermilk Nature 500ml, article number 204555000000, is available in Migros Aare. Buttermilk is - as the name suggests - a by-product of butter production. When the cream is churned, the fat part forms a compact mass and separates from the liquid buttermilk. Churning cream that has been acidified with lactic acid bacteria produces sour buttermilk. If sweet cream is churned, sweet buttermilk is produced. This is subsequently acidified or used for food production. Only sour buttermilk is usually commercially available. Pasteurization ensures a longer shelf life. We hope we have helped you and look forward to welcoming you to our stores. Best regards, your M-Infoline Team your M-Infoline Team
