Good white porcelain with a beautiful glaze, restrained design - tiptop. My intended use seems a bit strange: after my old cat died, I got a new cat from the animal shelter and he only eats from flat, very wide plates, not from the small bowls that all his predecessors used. The dessert plate in this series has a low but steeply curved edge that holds the food in the plate and the cat can lick it up better. Hardly any product designer has thought of this, but it was very important to me and also to the cat, who no longer has to bend its whiskers.
