Currently PFAS (PTFE coatings) are not banned (with some exceptions). What we can say is the following:

- There will be a comprehensive regulation and restriction of PFAS in the EU next year.
- Corresponding measures are also to be implemented in Switzerland in agreement with the EU.
- The current proposal is still at an early stage and is subject to change.
- Some of the test methods for determining the limit values have not yet been defined.

As a Swiss retailer, we are currently analyzing our supply chain for the products in question (including textiles, electronic products, ski wax, paper, cleaning agents and pans) and identifying the materials and substances used.

We are already looking for alternatives to replace products containing PFAS. With PTFE-coated pans, it may be more difficult to find similar materials that perform equally well. For this reason, we do not have PTFE-coated pans in our range. Nevertheless, we have noted that various EU suppliers have already found alternatives and are ready to make the switch.
