Many thanks to the sales consultant at MParc La Praille who guided me through the purchase of this tool. I need to install a lot of lampposts on a reinforced concrete roof, it was very hard but with this tool it's like butter. I highly recommend it, it's good value for money!
Excellent value for money. SDS drill, with percussion option, or not or mixed, excellent for DIY work around the house. Please note that traditional drill bits require an adapter, sold separately.
meets the requirements of private DIY enthusiasts
Normal drilling machine no change. With the aboschhammer like butter. Absolute buy recommendation
The critical review below almost put me off buying it. I was also looking for it after an impact drill let me down on a concrete ceiling. But this hammer drill was easy to use. Please use SDS-plus tools for concrete. (Could it have been the wrong tool?) I don't have any comparisons for the performance data, but a hobby craftsman is unlikely to count how many holes he can make per hour.

Very good buy, good value for money! I'm happy with this drill, which was powerful enough to drill 8mm diameter holes in the reinforced concrete walls of my living room. Contrary to what I've read here and there on the internet, this drill is effective for reinforced concrete (the material that requires the most power). It's not top of the range, but it's good enough for use once or twice a year. I particularly like the compact size of the device, which makes ceiling drilling easier. Tschüss
I've been wanting to put a lamp on the ceiling for months. I've already been to Do-it Olten, where a young employee turned me on to a 500 watt hammer drill. As expected and also said during the "consultation", the thing was not enough for the ceiling, but the young man knew better. Now I was back in Do-it Olten a few days ago. Said what I was going to do, attach LAmpe to the ceiling of the bed. Showed the device that I had previously been told was perfect for this. The gentleman, not so young, quite tall, immediately said no, that thing is not for concrete, you need a hammer drill. I listened to his advice and bought the hammer drill and two drill bits, because the ones I already had wouldn't fit. This gentleman was also of the opinion that it wouldn't be a problem with this hammer drill. He even showed me how to adjust it. I also told him that this part might be too weak because it only has 500 watts. No, he was also sure that I could get the lamp up safely with this device. So I thought to myself, ok, the gentleman is certainly more experienced than the boy who turned the hammer drill on you months before. Now I wanted to drill the three holes in the concrete to hang up the lamp. The result is exactly the same as with the percussion drill, a few mm in and then that's it, the thing makes noise like a world champion but won't go any further. So the part is just as weak as the percussion drill, which I said from the start that it probably didn't have enough power. Now I have bought two tools and both are useless. This shows me once again that I shouldn't believe everyone who calls themselves an expert and that "advice" should only be seen as trying to sell something expensive. I'm very annoyed because I threw money out of the window, which I really don't have a lot of. I have canceled 2 vacations to buy these devices because I don't have that much money. I will return the useless hammer drill, but I will certainly not be sold another machine. I want my money back so that I can at least celebrate my birthday properly with friends at the end of the month.
