Would it be possible to reduce the sugar content of (all) ready-made soups?
Hello BeatriceJ, Migros is aware of its responsibility with regard to food recipes and is constantly working on improving recipes in its own-brand range. This involves defining various selected product ranges in which, for example, a reduction in sugar or salt is being sought and implemented. In the case of soups, the focus to date has been on reducing salt. Sugar (types) are only included in sachet soups in very small quantities at most and are used to round off the taste. However, we are happy to take note of your input as a suggestion. Best regards, Il tuo team M-Infoline

Dear M-Infoline In my old question you said that the taste has not changed. I was finally able to find an old packet and I have to say that your answer is not quite right. Ingredients old packet; egg pasta 67.8% Cooking salt iodized Yeast extract Chicken meat and chicken fat 3.9% Sugar Potato starch Flavourings Onions dried 0.6% Rapeseed oil Spices Parsley dried 0.1% Ingredients new pack; Egg pasta 68% Cooking salt iodized Yeast extract Sugar Flavourings Chicken meat dried 3% Potato starch Chicken fat 0.9% Onions dried 0.6% Spices Rapeseed oil Parsley dried 0.1% As far as I know, the ingredients are sorted by quantity. As the order has changed, I strongly assume that the proportion of flavorings, for example, is at least >3%. Is that correct?

I already wrote about the spring soup, the contents and taste have been changed there too, luckily I still have some of the old packaging.
Hello SaDze and rollimaus, thank you very much for your contributions. The recipe has not changed. The two ingredient lists are minimally different because the way our manufacturer declares has changed. This mainly concerns the flavors; according to the legislation, this only has to be declared as "flavor" and not as individual ingredients. We used to add the individual ingredients together with the other ingredients in the recipe (such as table salt). Therefore, it now appears on the ingredients list as if it has more flavors in it, which is effectively not the case. As the ingredients are natural products, they may vary slightly in taste, perhaps you have noticed these differences in taste? Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello dear Migros team Have you changed the taste as well as the packaging? This soup was our absolute favorite and now it has a completely different taste (in our opinion). Can't you go back to the old recipe? :) LG
