A taste in itself - I particularly like it mixed with potatoes as mashed potato. But it can also be made on its own.
An old vegetable variety that seems to have been rediscovered. Tastes great.
In Norway, kohlrabi (actually turnip, choux rave) is part of the traditional Christmas dinner with pinnekjøtt (= lamb or sheep ribs, salted and dried) with potatoes and turnip puree - very good!
