What exactly is the reasoning behind only offering three to four varieties in the "bar"?
Hello GuyCH, the reason for this is the limited shelf space available. We therefore only offer the most popular varieties in different pack sizes. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Couldn't the Blévita be made vegan (this also applies to the varieties with linseed, sesame etc., but obviously not to those with cheese etc.)?
Hello Orome. We have 8 vegan Blévitas: Blévita Mini Provencale Almond, Blévita Pure Alpine Herbs, Blévita Pure Alpine Chili, Blévita Mini Pumpkin & Sunflower Seeds, Blévita Mini Chia Sesame, Blévita Protein Cocoa Almond, Blévita Curry Mild and Blévita Crispy Spelt & Quinoa. The standard varieties such as linseed and sesame are not vegan and there are no plans to change the currently very popular recipe. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Could rapeseed oil be used instead of sunflower oil for all Blevitas?
Hello Michi2000, thank you for your question. There are no plans to replace the sunflower oil with rapeseed oil. Sunflower oil guarantees the smell and taste better over the entire storage period. In addition, rapeseed oil has a very high proportion of polyunsaturated linolenic acid, averaging 9%. This acid is very sensitive to heat and oxidizes quickly - therefore the Blévitas would taste rancid after a short time. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello, does the salt used to make the cookies contain iodine? Thanks Simon
Hallô Simon According to Art. 6, para. 4 of the Ordinance on the Addition of Vitamins, Minerals and Certain Other Substances to Foodstuffs, iodized cooking salt must be designated as such. The list of ingredients therefore indicates whether non-iodized salt ("cooking salt", "sea salt") or iodized salt ("cooking salt, iodized") has been used. The cooking salt in Blévita 5-Grain Biscuits is not iodized. With best regards your M-Infoline team

Is extra folic acid added?
Hello Serina
Thank you for your question. Yes, this product is additionally fortified with folic acid.
In January 2000, the Swiss Folic Acid Offensive Foundation launched a national prevention campaign with the aim of closing the folic acid gap according to the 4th Swiss Nutrition Report 98 of the Federal Office of Public Health. Since then, over three hundred products have been enriched with folic acid, which are labeled with the Folic Acid Life Vitamin logo. Thanks to this campaign, awareness of folic acid prevention increased from 38% to 76% between 2000 and 2010.
By the way, natural sources of folic acid include yeast, wheat germ and bran as well as veal and poultry liver. Small amounts of folic acid are contained in wholemeal products, vegetables, nuts, fruit, fish and meat. Your M-Infoline team

I really wish I had a tin box in the shape of the Blévita pack to store the packs I've started lengthwise in an airtight container....
Thank you.
M. Achermann
Dear guest
Thank you for your interest.
Unfortunately, we do not have tin cans in this format in our range. However, at Christmas time you can find various tin containers in which you can store an opened pack. We will be happy to inform the relevant specialist department of your request.
Kind regards from the M-Infoline team

I have noticed that the iron content is no longer listed on this product. Are the values previously stated no longer correct? I chose this variety specifically because of the iron content, as this was by far the highest in this product. Am I possibly misinformed?
Dear guest
Thank you for your interest in our product.
As you have correctly noted, Blévitas no longer contain iron. Iron is a vital trace element that must be taken in with food. Iron is mainly found in animal foods, but some types of fruit and vegetables, cereal products and pulses are also good sources of iron. The iron supply in the Swiss population is generally sufficient.
Elevated iron levels are considered a risk factor for coronary heart disease, so it makes no sense to fortify foods according to the "watering can principle". Fortification can therefore also be counterproductive, particularly in the case of products that are consumed daily and/or in large quantities and contain the maximum permitted amounts. After consultation with the nutrition experts at the
