«The product delivers a delicious smoky flavor and serves as a creative plant-based alternative to salmon, perfect for various dishes. However, many customers find the price excessive, especially compared to fresh carrots. The texture does not resemble salmon, but it is enjoyed as a tasty accompaniment.»

You can tell it's carrots. Yolo's is much better.
Sliced salmon is better than this one. Small pieces, lots of oil
Tastes like real salmon, delicious and smoked.
Very tasty. The price is a bit high, you would have to try making one yourself. There are so many possible uses. Be it in the cold or hot kitchen with pasta and cream sauce etc...
The Wood Smoked based on organic bud carrots delights with a fine smoky aroma, alpine dill and a pinch of pepper. The consistency is pleasantly reminiscent of gravad salmon - and is 100% plant-based.
Ideal for bagels, wraps or as a highlight on a salad plate. Regional, creative and tasty - a real statement for sustainable enjoyment.
Conclusion: A high-quality, plant-based delicacy with an authentic character - for conscious connoisseurs with high standards. Cannot be compared with the nutritional values of fish.
de uper fine, beautifully packaged
As an alternative top
Ideal vegetarian aperitif with character, a real smoky taste
8.90 CHF for 130g for carrots with a little oil, vinegar and spices. I thought I wasn't looking properly. For 2.80 CHF I can get 1 kg(!) of organic carrots from Switzerland at Migros and can pickle them myself in vinegar and oil and still save a massive amount of money.
At first I thought that Migros had added such a high profit margin here, but no. According to the manufacturer's website, this is the price they also charge when selling direct on their website. This is an absolute cheek and I don't know for the life of me how this exorbitant price can be justified, because it can't be explained by the ingredients alone, as they consist of 92% carrots.
I don't know what it is, but in view of the comments and nutritional description... I'd like to point out to "vegans" that it does not replace SALMON PROTEINS... this product contains none... and it remains a contour...
