The Beet Jerky, based on organic budded beetroot, surprises with its intense spiciness and pleasant smoky flavor. The texture is firm to the bite, the aroma deep and hearty - ideal for on the go, during sport or simply as a conscious snack between meals.
I found the beetroot jerky surprisingly good. The price is shocking, it should come down. The sugar and salt content are also too high and could certainly be reduced. And yes, unfortunately it is extremely sticky, not something for on the go in my opinion. Nevertheless, the idea is cool and the taste and consistency are right, it reminds me of Mostbröckli.
