Vinschgau Paarl or Valais rye bread. The flour is suitable for both. Our home-made sourdough is called Hiasl.

This makes a perfect sourdough starter

for sourdough bread - tastes good

very suitable for sourdough

Very good quality

Bought this for the 1st time as my husband has been making our own bread lately.

Makes fine bread.

Perfect for bread

Good and healthy

Aromatic and very good for all rye/sourdough breads. A little finer ground (like Alnatura's) would make it even more versatile. It is completely incomprehensible that many larger Migros stores, such as Spiez, have now taken it out of their range - after the Alnatura wholemeal rye flour had already been eliminated! Especially since sourdough bread is so trendy. Do we really have to make a pilgrimage to the Alnatura stores - i.e. city centers - for all organic wholemeal flours? Back off, please!
