Why does this flour (and other flours) cost CHF 3 at Migros from DE, AT, CZ or "CH" instead of CHF 1, for example? In DE, organic flour from DE costs 85 cents. Please provide a transparent and factual explanation. "Packed in CH" does not justify the exorbitant price. This is a 0815 staple food from which Migros is knowingly and deliberately enriching itself unfairly.

Although the grain comes from different countries of origin, the raw materials are still transported to Switzerland, ground in a Swiss mill and then packaged. The production costs in Switzerland are higher and the storage of organic products is more complex than for conventional goods. We hope this explanation makes sense. The flour type indicates how many minerals in mg per 100 g of flour are contained in the dry matter and depends on the degree of grinding. Most customers in Switzerland are not familiar with this information on flour types and it is therefore not printed on the packaging.
In Switzerland, the term is only used within the industry, but on German, French and Italian packaging the term "Mehlyp", "Type farine" or "Farino tipo" appears again and again and causes confusion.
