I read this post on Facebook today. Could this be true? Is Migros really that far gone already? And this despite the eternal "From the region" advertisements? If so, I should really think about whether Migros is still the right place for me: "It makes me wonder when Migros sends 1 tonne of top-quality organic berries, already packed in small trays, back to the producer on the grounds that the borders have been opened due to a shortage of berries and the foreign fruit is now cheaper. The punnets now have to be emptied and the berries end up in the compost."

"I would like to hereby correct my Facebook entry from September 10. I misinterpreted the situation and got carried away with an ill-considered Facebook post based on false information.
Migros has assured us that it will not import any Swiss berries as long as they are still available on the market.
The 100 kg of berries that were withdrawn from the fresh market will be processed further in the industry and will NOT be composted. The reason for the return was the ripeness and consistency of the berries, which no longer met the quality requirements of a fresh product.
I would like to make it clear that my statement does not correspond to Migros' business practices and I would like to apologize to everyone involved for my post."
