We have finally discovered a top-quality coffee and are absolutely delighted with the quality. The small farming families also benefit from our purchase. It says so on the packaging.
We are very happy to support this with our purchase.
Now the retail price of this organic coffee has been increased. Our question is whether the smallholder families and workers also benefit from the price increase. If this is not the case, we would be very disappointed.
We expect an answer from MIGIPEDIA as soon as possible.

We apologize for the delay in replying.
In the meantime, we have received the following reply from our supplier:
Coffee farmers are currently benefiting twice over from the current market situation. On the one hand, green coffee prices have risen and have not been this high for 14 years. On the other hand, those farmers who participate in the Max Havelaar program are benefiting from an additional premium that is paid out to the farmers. Most coffee farmers in the countries of origin are doing very well at the moment and the prospects for the future are promising. Migros sells the entire basic range UTZ certified. UTZ is a program that is not very different from Bio Max Havelaar. UTZ includes almost the same points with regard to ecological sustainability and social aspects in the coffee-growing countries as Bio Max Havelaar. The coffee farmers who participate in the UTZ program also receive a better price.
We hope this information will help you and look forward to your next visit to your nearest branch. Your M-Infoline Team

Who on earth came up with the crazy idea of dispensing with the wire-reinforced cardboard closure? Once the beans have been ground, the packaging can no longer be closed at all. What's this nonsense? Do I now have to bring an adhesive strip from home every time I buy coffee at Migros? Because the one that Migros has attached to the pack is absolutely useless and doesn't stick! Annoying!!!!!

Thank you for your contribution.
We recommend that you remove the adhesive strip before grinding and attach it to an area of the packaging that does not come into too much contact with the coffee powder during grinding. As this fixation was specially designed to be stuck on and removed several times, it still sticks very well after grinding.

Please reattach the plastic metal tab to the packaging. After grinding the beans, the strip doesn't stick at all and the aroma is gone in no time... :(

Hello Hieronymus
Thank you for your input, which we have passed on to the specialist department. We recommend that you keep the coffee refrigerated in a tightly sealed container after opening. This will preserve the aroma and enjoyment for longer.
Best regards
