Hello Is the beetroot (whether organic or conventional) cooked in plastic or is it cooked first and then vacuum-sealed warm or cold?
Hello Cyronika, thank you for your question. We wash and blanch our beetroot briefly in hot water. We then pack them in a bag. They are gently cooked to their ideal degree of doneness in the so-called deep-drawn bag. This process optimizes the aroma preservation and prevents the beetroot from tasting watery at the end.
