«Great machine for authentic Italian coffee, but not suitable for induction cooktops. Some users wish for better material quality.»

Starting to stink of made in china...
Lid rattles. Squeaks when screwed on. None of that in my house! I go to Alessi. Real Made in Italy!

no induction no alternative
I always use the BIALETTI Italian coffee maker to make my mocha coffee.
Even when I go on vacation, I take it with me. It says 6 espresso but it's really 3 ristretti.
And this aluminum version has a flaw: after a maximum of 2 years, mildew stains appear in the water tank, giving the coffee a strange taste, to the point that I prefer to throw it away because it's impossible to remove the mildew even with hot vinegar and other stuff, as it comes back after a short time.
I only use the chrome one, which is more expensive but stainless.

Since 1931, the BIALETTI name has been synonymous with the incomparable uniqueness of Italian coffee, and with more than 300 million machines sold worldwide, it holds the top spot in the world rankings! Great! Our warmest congratulations! (to be read in David Bergé's recently published and highly recommended book, written in English: BIALETTI - a catalogue, Spector Books, ISBN 978 3-959-05759-2, available at Ex Libris for CHF 28.80) . The three B-words for the unforgettable typically Italian coffee: BIALETTI - Boncampo - Basta !
