I've been eating them every day for years with great satisfaction. But the 2024 harvest was a very, very bad year for walnuts. Dry, black, rancid. Lots of waste. (Cottens walnuts are no better).
Long experience with Migros tree nuts: between disastrous and reasonably acceptable; the black, dried out or damaged specimens are too numerous.
Also very healthy and very important for the brain 👍🏿😋🩷

In this pack, at least half of the tree nuts were slightly open and therefore rotten, which you couldn't see from the outside when you bought them.
Otherwise they would have been good.
