Why does Balace margarine have water?
Hello 2468000, thank you for your question. Normal butter also contains fat and water. When margarines were created, they were made in a similar way with vegetable oils and water. There are different margarines with different fat contents. The Balance product has 45% fat and therefore a higher water content than a conventional margarine. On the other hand, the Balance margarine is better for your cholesterol levels. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Why are the prices going up so much? Digitec has a price chart for every product.🤔 Migros also owns it...
Hello Kuttlo, thanks for the question. Unfortunately, raw material prices have risen massively. Whenever possible, we bear the additional costs ourselves - unfortunately, in this case it was unavoidable to adjust the prices. If the situation eases again, we will of course consider any adjustments. It is still our aim to offer the best value for money. We have gladly submitted the suggestion regarding the price chart to the specialist department. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
Thank you for your reply, I look forward to hearing from you. best regards

Hello crazytim, thank you very much for your feedback. We have indeed had to adjust the price as raw materials are currently in short supply. As a result, procurement has become more expensive and packaging costs have also risen. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Recently, this margarine has been packaged differently, with a red "New Design" sticker on the lid. Unfortunately, I now notice that every time I take it out of the cooler, quite a lot of water has collected in the bowl. The margarine also "sweats", which means that drops of water form on the surface. Has not only the design but also the composition been changed or even replaced by an inferior product? Unfortunately I can no longer buy it like this, I will be switching to a palm oil-free product anyway!
Hello Waldameise777, thank you for your message. We have only changed the packaging design for Balance margarine, the recipe is still identical. The incidents you have reported to us should not occur. So that we can check the retained samples, please let us know the best-before date and the lot number next to it. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Healthy eating with palm oil?

Hello
Thank you very much for your comment.
We understand that, in view of the numerous articles in the press on the subject of palm oil, the question has arisen as to whether the presence of palm oil in a "Balance" product can be justified.
It's true that palm oil doesn't exactly have the reputation of being a particularly healthy oil, given that it contains a lot of saturated fatty acids. If only palm oil were consumed and used in cooking, it wouldn't be particularly healthy. A high proportion of saturated fatty acids - lauric acid, myristic acid, palmitic acid - raises cholesterol levels. But it's also true, for example, that palm oil contains fewer saturated fatty acids overall than butter. The proportion of cholesterol-raising saturated fatty acids (lauric, myristic and palmitic acids) is roughly equal in palm oil and butter. What counts in the end is the product's overall fatty acid composition.
In the preparation of Balance vegetable oil, palm oil is only used to a very small extent.
We hope we've been able to convince you that any doubts you may have about the health benefits of Balance vegetable oil are unfounded.
We wish you a happy summer and all the best.

And what about the ethical aspects (deforestation, destruction of the orangutan's habitat and of the species itself, use of pesticides that are particularly harmful to producers, etc.) behind the palm oil?
Weren't the vegetable oils already present in the product sufficient without the addition of palm oil?

Hello,
I've been using ACTILIFE STYLE margarine for several years now, and the Migipédia page has already disappeared. To my VERY great surprise and disappointment, it is no longer on your shelves and the staff have informed me that it is impossible to order it.
Have you once again withdrawn a product from your range without informing consumers in advance, or is this just temporary, and to my great relief I'll soon find my favorite margarine back on your shelves?
Hi Marilyne,
Many thanks for your feedback. Actilife Style margarine has been withdrawn from sale due to insufficient demand. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer a perfectly comparable alternative. If it's the health aspect that's important to you, we recommend Actilife Balance 250g. The half-fat butter Light 200g has a delicious buttery taste, and the margarines Délice demi-grasse 250g or Délice Extra Light aha! 250g margarines have a particularly low fat content.
We hope you enjoy these margarines too, and wish you a great weekend!
Best regards Your M-Infoline team

I've acquired a taste for it... But as I'm switching to a vegan diet and the spread contains B12, I'm not sure whether this product is actually vegan. What is the source of the B12?
Hello GremRa
The product Actilife Balance is suitable for a vegan diet. The vitamin B12 is obtained microbiologically.
Best regards from the M-Infoline team
